Introduction

According to legend, when the ravens depart the Tower of London, it will crumble to rubble and disaster will befall England. As man became more dependent on science, ancient lore and rituals were lost to the antiquity of time.

Classes

Mankind is a race of survivors. A rebellious few survive in the shadows of their former dominance, combining the holy, ancient, and arcane rites with the fringe sciences of the modern era.
Emerging from the swirling chaos of the Hellgate, the demons overwhelmed humanity's defenses. The Hellgate writhes and seethes like a living thing, a tornado of eldritch energies through which the minions of the netherworld surge forth.
BioShock is a revolution in the shooter genre that will forever change the expectations for the FPS. BioShock is the Shooter 2.0.
After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more. Now the city is littered with corpses, wildly powerful guardians roam the corridors as little girls loot the dead, and genetically mutated citizens ambush you at every turn.
Arx Fatalis combines intelligent storyline with impressive medieval surroundings. The user-friendly interface allows the highest interactivity possible. Arx Fatalis creates a state of intense immersion that allows the player to feel that all his actions have a direct consequence in the Arx game world.

The goal of the game is to destroy the secret cult of Akbaa: the god of devastation and chaos, and thereby prevent his return to the physical world. Should the player fail, the demon is bound to impose his reign of terror upon Arx. The player, assuming the role of the potential hero, fights inside an underground fortress using wooden clubs, swords and magical items to defend himself against creatures including goblins, trolls, ratmen and other vicious opponents. But, brute force is not always the best way to succeed and the player has at his disposal the innovative new "onscreen gesture based magic system" to assist him in his progress through the game. Using the mouse, burning runes can be drawn in mid-air. A series of these gestures combine to create powerful magic spells that will protect the player or empower him to defeat his enemies and pursue his quest.

In addition to the struggles against demons and monsters there are numerous opportunities for interaction with the creatures and objects inside the fortress helping the player to rediscover his memory, solve puzzles and fulfill quests. Collecting experience points enables the player to appropriately craft his hero's skills and abilities and to develop his overall persona. Dare to enter the world of Arx Fatalis. Explore underground cities, secret temples, lost civilizations, dwarf mines and discover the magic of Arx Fatalis...
As you work your way up you win the respect of those you need to help you, as well as do what it takes to acquire the wealth needed to keep rising through the ranks until you're the top dog. In the second game of the series, you are "the dude", living in a shabby trailer on the edge of the town of Paradise with a significant other whose nagging is just one of the many reasons you might just go over the edge.
Each day you leave home with a list of chores, and day one finds you heading to the office to pick up your check, but a pink slip awaits, as the game continues to urge you to cross the line.

Unlike the 1997 Postal however, in this game you can choose not to let things push you over the edge, instead following a pacifistic route, though you are certain to witness mass carnage either way.
It is set in the 22nd century, during a new ice age. Currently, there have been over one million rounds played since its release.[1]

The game was built primarily for multiplayer use allowing a maximum 64 players on a server and allows a single player mode with AI bots on Conquest mode with a maximum up 16 players. It has its own ranking system to keep track of the user's stats similar to the one used in its predecessor, Battlefield 2. It additionally opens up a new field of vehicles not seen in Battlefield 2 as well as new futuristic weapons the player is able to use. Battlefield 2142 has an unlock system allowing the player to choose a new unlock every time they achieve a new rank rather than making them purchase the item. EA has also released an expansion pack called Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike which contains 3 new maps, 10 new unlocks, and 2 new vehicles.
