Two sets of vanes, each with symbols on them, rotate in opposite directions. When any pair of overlapping symbols match, hit the button. Successful matches increase your score and the game speed. Missing a match or hitting the button when no matches occur will cost you a try.

There are three different game layouts and two speed choices, making the game accessible to people of all reflex levels.

Also available is Chirality+, with more eye candy and distracting graphics. Runs pretty slowly on most systems though, so it's more for looks than gaming right now.

GraviTron

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/GraviTron/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Pilot your craft into dangerous caverns, rescue stranded space -men, destroy all reactors and return home in time for tea.

RoidRage

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/roidrage/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

WIP Asteroids inspired vector style title.

When learning a new system the first thing you do is remake a classic. When I wanted to do hardware accelerated glowy vectors I turned to one of the greatest (and also most remade) games of them all asteroids.

RoidRage isn't going to be a clone of asteroids but a game in the style of asteroids, with powerups and more enemy types for starters.

Currently undergoing development.

Vector Infector PSP

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/vipsp/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

A PSP remake of Oddbob's fantastically psychedelic arena shooter.

Nebula Wars (Tinker Blaster's Trip)

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/nebulawars/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Includes a vector graphics ship editor, online leader list, custom sounds, and an acid trip graphics engine! Customize everything about your ship from mass to rate of fire. Use physics to create powerful ships. Massive ships take more hits, less massive ones take less engine power. Big projecties connect easily but small projectiles have more pressure ripping through baddies with less velocity! It's up to you to figure out what combination works to get you to the top of the online charts!

cavernrescue

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/cavernrescue/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This is an original game with vector style graphics in the vein of the defender ilk.
The aim of the game is to pilot your ship through the randomly generated caverns, picking up all the wee guys that are waving for help.
You must collect fuel pods or plummet into the ground as you run out.
To make matters worse, you must dodge oncoming fire and missile turrets.
As the levels progress, the baddies get faster and more agressive.

This was an attempt at creating random levels and making a coherent game.
It all gelled together quite nicley and Cavern Rescue was the final product.
