The game has been upgraded visually for the Game Boy Advance and supports wireless link-up for trading without cables. The game also enables trading and battling of the original Pokemon that started the craze with the new Sapphire and Ruby editions. Like Stadium before it, part two offers Pokemaniacs everywhere a chance to duel with the monsters they've been so carefully preening in the Game Boy Pokemon Gold and Silver games. Using the Transfer Pak to great effect, Stadium 2 allows users to upload Pokemon from their Game Boy cartridges and battle them in several scenarios. There are literally thousands of battles to be had in Stadium 2. Where Stadium had three Stadium Cups, Stadium 2 has four, and two of those are separated into four eight-trainer battles each. In addition, a Pokemon Academy has been added to the fun. Here, players can access a huge database of Pokemon information, participate in classes and ultimately take tests on what they've learned. The mini-games are back, as is the ability to play your Game Boy carts onscreen at Game Boy Tower.

Jade Cocoon

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/jadecocoon/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Popping up in the height of the world's Pokemon craze, Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu is a 3D fantasy-based RPG adventure.
Early one morning the peaceful village of Syrus is attacked by a swarm of several forest minions called the Onibubu, the Locusts of Apocalypse. The dust they spreads plunges many of the villagers into a deep sleep which they cannot wake from, without the legendary Calabas Herb hidden deep in the massive forest. Since the resident Cocoon Master, Riketz, the Lion of Parel is no longer available, the village reluctantly sends his son Levant into the forest to retrieve the herb. His only hope of survival against the minions of Elrihm, god of the forest is to imprison the creatures in silk cocoons and tame them with the help of his childhood friend and young wife Mahbu, who is the only one able to purify the creatures. But eventually Levant finds himself involved in something much bigger than just saving his village...

Pokemon LeafGreen

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/pokemonleafgreen/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Remake of the original Game Boy title Pokemon Green (released in Japan alongside Red in 1996). In the game's Stadium Mode, one player competes in 80 different battles, divided into four tournaments. Beat the Stadium Mode and you're in for a bonus battle against the ultimate Pokemon warrior, Mewtwo, as well as a secret mode that gives you 80 brand-new, and devilishly tough battles. There is virtually no way you can beat the secret mode without having trained your own, elite Pokemon . One to four players compete against each other or the computer in a no-holds-barred battle with customizable rules. You can select rental Pokemon for these battles -- but that makes them much too predictable since their selection of techniques isn't determined by the trainer. You can also select quick and easy versus and random battles.
