It features all the classic stages as well as over thousand user made sets.

You control a ball that bounces up and down on its own. Steer the ball left/right and hit colored blocks. If the colors match you can destroy the block.

Enter: color changers, deadly skull blocks, moving enemies, keys, doors, bombs and many more.

An editor to create your own sets is included. You can also upload your set from inside the game and have it immediately available to other players.

Kastle Kumquat

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/kastlekumquat/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Kastle Kumquat has always been a long standing favourite of mine from the Amiga days and for the 2006 Retro Remakes competition i helped develop this remake with my skilled partner (the code guru) Edgar M Vigdal. The gfx are by me, the sounds are by me (including the grunts and oofs) and we got some very nice music made for us by the talented "infamous". The tough part is all by Edgar though, without him these games wouldn't happen.

Collect fruits, find keys, press switches and open doors to make your way through the kastle. Dodge the twizzly boxes of doom, jump the lava and watch out for the traps. The remake did ok in the competition but the game turned out as great as i hoped. Its a joy to play, in fact only yesterday i played it through once again.

We are now working on a version which includes the room editor for a collaborative project. A whole new set of user made rooms with some new twists and traps. Hopefully that'll be underway soon.

Moves

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/moves/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This is a very simple board game for 2 players (or 1 player versus the computer). Both players get 7 pawns and 1 king on a 8x8 board. The goal is to get your opponent's king or 6 of his pawns. Each turn, the player may select 1 stone and move it straight or in an L-bow. You cannot jump over stones, but you can step onto your opponent's stone to take it. The numbers on your stones indicate the number of tiles they can move in a turn. When the Mastermind option is selected, the stones change in value when you move it. Pawns can get numbers 1-4, while the king only gets 1 or 2. A challenging game!

Setting the Mastermind option (to change the alue of your stones each move) will show numbers on the board so you will know the number you will get when you move a stone there.

This games comes with 5 imaginary friends of fine-tuned artificial intelligence to play offline against your computer.

Tilt!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/tilt/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

<img style="float: left; clear: left;" src="http://static.greatgamesexperiment.com/userimages/8/81956f27904f7e244bd5a1ef2becbbb7_sq.gif" title="Tilt! On top of that, it provides two different gaming modes. In normal mode, you can play without the limitation of time. Plus, hints are available when you get stuck. On the other hand, the Time attack mode is very challenging. You must solve the puzzle in a limited time. However, you may get bonus time by giving correct answers. Of course, punishment will be given if you make wrong answers.

The game is also featured at eye-candy user-interface. In the near future, you will be able to change the theme as well as the background music.

iPuissance 4D

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ipuissance4d/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

iPuissance 4D is a free (online) Connect 4 style video game: It can be played through the Internet against other real players, or locally against an artificial intelligence. The Connect Four grid is rendered in 3D. It is also possible to see the scores, time left, change the game rules, and even chat with others in the game or in chat room. You can play on-line and chat on the Beroux.com server for free and increase your rank in the high score.

Stack Attack

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/stackattack/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This is a very simple concept game with minimilistic almost DOSlike graphics, but hopefully with a hook of playability to have you coming back again just for the ride.

Click grouped blocks to make them disappear from the playfield - the number of blocks in the group (two or more) will determind the score given. More blocks together = higher group-clicking scores.

clicking on a single block will cause a 1000 points pentalty to be taken from your score.

If you remove an entire column then a free-column bonus will be awarded for the duration of the free state.

More blocks are being pushed into the playfield from below, slowly at first but then faster as the game continues on, until it is very frantic indeed.

If you need more blocks and the blocks are being pushed on to the screen to slowly then use mouse button two, or the space bar, to bring them on faster. You may want to do this at the start of the game, but once the speed is higher this will be the last thing on your mind!

The game is over when a stack reaches the score-line at the top of the screen.

STOP THOSE STACKS!

Image" /> There's a fair few "reaction tests" across the internet, and most of them follow one cliche idea or another - click at the right time, click the right amount of times and so on. This one is slightly different, and requires a bit more thinking than the standard methods.

There are two things to focus on, each of them a ring with 15 circles. You can rotate the outer ring with your mouse. When the colors of each of the circles match up, click the left mouse. If you've aligned them properly, you'll get points and extra time. Otherwise, you'll just lose some points. Then, the colors reset and you try again. Try to get the most rings possible in a minute and earn yourself a highscore!

There are 3 gamemodes, and 8 "skins".

Also, the song featured is named Obscurity, written by Dark Nebula.

Ball 4 Revamped

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ball4r/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Guide your ball through 100 small levels, attempting to make it through in the best time.

Bubble Fun

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/bubblefun/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In Bubble Fun you have to try to sweep the board by converting all of the bubbles to your color.
This game has been published as a type-in for the C64 in a magazine.

The game field is filling up with water and it's up to you to save as much dry area as possible! Build walls to keep the water outside. Once you keep a certain percentage dry you advance to the next level.

An additional element: If there are trees you need to keep those dry too. The water doesn't want to stop. Can you stop it?
Aquantor comes with 20 prebuilt levels. This is a remake of an old game for the MSX 8-bit computers. This remake was made in the most possible faithful way, with slighly modified graphics. The objective of this game is simple: control your Skooter robot and get the four screen items to complete each one of the sixteen levels that compose the game. A great puzzle!

To play Skooter, use arrows and space (joystick also supported). Space destroy green blocks. Red blocks cannot be destroyed. Arrow blocks move by themselves. Diamond blocks can be pushed. Blue arrows push items (only when they are not blocked).
