Players will have the ability to train and catch pokemon while battling other trainers online in real-time. The POL game is closely based on the original Pokemon Gameboy games, with most of the traditional elements remaining intact. The POL enviroment is completely 2D and replicates the graphics used in the original games. The POL MMORPG has the ability to support hundreds and even thousands of simultaneously connected players. This means that you will interact in a vast virtual world, with many kingdoms and quests, with players from all over the world.
Pokemon Online seeks to involve the community wherever possible.

Pokemon Online has proven itself to be innovative in its approaches to nearly everything - from being the first Pokemon MMORPG project to incorporating a community-driven spirit into the development of the game.
What is the Pokemon Crater Battle Arena?
The Pokemon Crater Battle Arena is an online game where you can catch your own online Pokemon and battle them against other players.

How much does it cost?
Nothing! The game is absolutely free to play.

Will my personal information be viewable to other players?
Only if you want it to be. Your email and other information not directly related to the game is hidden from other members by default, but you may choose for them to be shown.

What are the basics I need to know to play the game?
When you sign up, you'll choose a starter Pokemon. To catch more Pokemon, simply move around on one of the maps until another one appears. You can battle this Pokemon and try to capture it. If you capture it, it will be added to your team and you can use it to battle other people and catch more Pokemon!

When you try to login, you keep getting a message that your session has expired.
This site uses cookies to login to the arena. When the 'Session Expired' page always appears when you try to login, this means that cookies are not enabled on your browser. Change your cookie settings to accept cookies and this problem should go away.

What's the difference between Normal, Shiny, Dark, Metallic, and Ghostly Pokemon?
Shiny Pokemon have 25% more HP than Normal Pokemon and Dark Pokemon do 25% more damage than Normal Pokemon. Metallic Pokemon cannot be effected by status effects (Confusion, Freezing, etc) and Ghostly Pokemon have a chance to scare the defending Pokemon whenever they attack (scaring is another status effect, so Metallics are immune to it).

How do I catch legendary Pokemon?
Legendary Pokemon will appear randomly on the maps once you have beat every gym leader and both sets of elite 4.

Where is (pokemon name) found?
All Pokemon appear randomly on the maps. Different Pokemon are found in the caves maps versus the grass maps, and water pokemon are only found in the water.

How do you switch pokemon in your team with a pokemon in your pokemon box?
Go to the "Your Pokémon Team" page, there should be a "Switch" option, which lets you switch Pokemon. But remember, you need at least 7 pokemon in order to switch. You can't trade or release Pokemon that are in your party, only those that are in your box. If you do not have at least 7 Pokemon, you will have to catch more so you will able to switch them out of your party.

How do I get on the Top 100 Trainers list?
It takes a lot of time and patience to get on the top trainers. You need to have a lot of high level pokemon with a lot of experience, and many, many battles won to get on the top 100.

I forgot my password! What can I do?
If you provided your email, you can go here and enter your username and it will be emailed to you: Forgot Password.

Can I battle my friends and how do I do it?
You can battle your friends in a live battle. Either find them on the map and click "show battles: on" below the map and you'll find a link to battle them. You can also just enter their username on the "Battle an Online Member" page if they are online.

Can I battle other people when they are not online?
You can battle people who aren't online by going to the "Battle Any Member" page. However, their Pokemon will be computer controlled.

What are the stones (ie: Moon Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Sone, etc.)?
These stones are for evolving some of the pokemon that require a stone to evolve. Before you evolve them, you will need to buy the appropriate stone and it will be used when you evolve that Pokemon.

Why are some attacks so expensive?
Attacks that are not normal or share a type with your Pokemon are much more expensive, since if you want an attack that does not match your Pokemon, it should cost more to teach them that attack.

What do the points mean?
The points are calculated from your total experience, average experience, and total battles won. They are the same points as are displayed on the top 100 trainers list and are meant to show your relative progress. Don't be discouraged if they are really low, many of the people on the top trainers list have been here for years.

Transmigration

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/transmigration/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

You Don't Know Jack

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ydkj/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

You Don't Know Jack: the show where high culture and pop culture collide!

You are presented with a quiet city scene where you control heaps of rubble dropped from the sky by a tiny alien (Minibyte), who decided to "pick on the big people" by planting his "Portable Entertainment System" (a giant crane) over Earth. The goal of the game comes in three tiers: to score by squishing people, play pentomino, and challenge your reflexes as blocks fall at random speeds. The traditional set of blocks are mixed with "surprise blocks" which you have to quickly find a place for in the grid. Even the individual block tiles are purposefully vague and hard to distinguish to add to the chaos. The game is very challenging to ones reflexes. The goal is to keep your grid under control as long as possible so that you can continue scoring on pedestrians. TC:E is a modern world total conversion modification of the free, popular, stand-alone first-person shooter Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. That is, TC:E is an entirely free game, made by gamers, for gamers.

TC:E is currently being developed by GrooveSix Studios and TeamTerminator. While TeamTerminator is known for the famous Q3 based TrueCombat series, GrooveSix Studios was initiated by retired TeamTerminator co-founder Coroner to develop a Return to Castle Wolfenstein modification that is not released. Thus, as very experienced Q3-based content creators, we hope to be able to serve the gaming community with a quality offering.
Now, the most important question: "What can you expect from TC:E?" TC:E is a tactical-team shooter, set up in a modern-world environment. TC:E puts you into the role of elite mercenary soldier in the conflicts of two internationally operating forces.
SpecOps vs. Terrors
The Global Intervention Force (GIF626) is a special force formed of the top of the world experts joining from US Delta force, UK SAS, German KSK and GSG9, to mention a few. An international mercenary organization known as "The Unit" is their opponent. It is reported that some of these dudes are were once with the above forces, but the lure of money is strong. You say "Yet another terror counter-terrorism shooter. Why the hell should I go for it?". We say "Cause you don't have to spend a cent and it features:"

It takes all the elements in common strategy game and distills them down to their core: competing for territory and having battles. However, in this game, once a tile is placed, it can no longer be moved, only captured, so unlike most strategy games, a game of Proximity is usually over in about 10 minutes. Also, since the rules are pretty simple, it appeals to a lot of people who aren't normally into the big, unwieldly, and complex strategy games out there.
I'm currently working on a sequel, as well as looking for ways to get the game onto consoles, and hopefully a board game version eventually.

CrashBlock

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/crashblock/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Crashblock is a platform puzzle game, mixing puzzle elements from Tetris and platform elements of Flashback.

The aim of the game is to play a game of tetris from the inside, running around the arena, climbing over the fallen blocks, trying to complete a line whilst trying to collect enough stars to advance to the next level and collecting coins and other items to boost your score and help you along the way. There are hazards to overcome, Bombs are released from completed lines along with bonus items and stars, also captive creatures called meanies are released making your task so much more difficult.

If the blocks pile up to the top of the arena, it's game over. If a falling block lands on you, it's squishy death, if you're caught in a bomb blast, it's goodnight and if you're caught by a meanie, it's so long and thanks for all the limbs.

You have to control the crane holding the current shape by calling it over to you, rotating the shape to the correct position and then diving out of the way while it falls.. there is no controlled drop in this game, oh no!

This game is currently under development for the Pascal Game Development 2007 Competition, The end deadline is the 3rd of June 2007.
