Battleships Forever is a freeware tactical Real Time Strategy game that puts you in command of a small fleet of warships in space. Combat and damage mechanics are extremely detailed. Everything is simulated in game if possible. There are no abitrary "to hit chance" values in Battleships Forever. The game also features many innovative mechanics that you've never seen before. For example, the Cronus Battleship sports a Flux Shield generator that allows you to draw a defensive force shield around your ships in any shape you want. Another example are the Deflector modules that are used extensively through the game. These modules make a single section of a ship totally invulnerable to fire. This means that you will have to manoeuvre your ships to attack sections of the enemy ships not protected by Deflectors while keeping your own protected sections facing the enemy. Position is paramount!

Players will command picked fleets made up of Battleships, Destroyers and Patrol Craft. The completed game will include ten campaign missions and multiple skirmish modes.

Battleships Forever is inspired by and loosely based on Warning Forever by Hikoza.T.Ohkubo

Last Scenario

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/LastScenario/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Last Scenario is a game made using the popular RPGMaker XP that could possibly rival Aveyond's level of professionalism, perhaps even surpass it. Tiles, music and sound effects are standard material that is included with the package, but most of the character portraits, sprites and backgrounds seen in this release were created by the developer.

The C key is used for most interactions and menu selections. Press the X key to access the inventory screen or to cancel any choices. A medium length RPG with over a thousand rooms, side quests, a unique spellcard system and even a collectible board game, it's quite unlikely that any fan would complete this production in a couple of sittings
It'll be playable in your browser with no downloadable client required. It utilizes Adobe's Shockwave Player, which most browsers already have installed.

When asked, what does the game closely resemble (because we all need comparisons, right?), I usually say it's an MMO Social Game with a bit of a mix of Nintendo's Animal Crossing and The Sims.

Every building you see in the above screen shots will be inhabited by players and you'll be able to do a variety of activities around town. We're implementing a very intuitive social system that hasn't been done before to our knowledge. I'm personally very excited about this game so far and I can't wait for players to get their hands on it.
Instead of a generic planet, the game is set inside a gigantic stalactite named Yliakum, divided into eight levels, of which the lower two are flooded.

Spy a Solution

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/spyasolution/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Bedlam

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/BedlamPnP/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Doom Roguelike

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/doomrl/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

DoomRL is based on the world from id Software's(tm) game Doom(tm). You're the sole surviving marine from a squad sent to investigate a distress call from the moonbase of Phobos. It turns out that all hell has broken loose on the plant... literally.

Your quest in DoomRL is to descend into the moonbase complex, find the source of this evil outbreak, and destroy it at all costs.

Unlike many other roguelikes, DoomRL is intended to be simple and easy to get into. To that end, there is a limited inventory, maps of the size of one screen, and one item per tile. The number of keys you need to remember is also quite small compared to many other games.

Spartan's Escape

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/spartanescape/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Arcade Phoenix

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ArcadePhoenix/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

When Orcs Attack!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/woa/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

<img style="float: left; clear: left;" src="http://static.greatgamesexperiment.com/userimages/8/82914b563233f994e04ce14d4ac5de77_sq.png" title="When Orcs Attack! Pick one of the top contenders in the galaxy and take him to conquer all tournaments. It's up to you to achieve glory through victory or taste the agony of defeat!
The objective of the game is to become the best uber-player in the entire galaxy. In order to achieve this, you have in your hands the latest in elastic-paddle technology that will allow you to control the speed, bounce and direction of the ball at will.
The encounters are regulated under the popular Mexican rule of three-O-five (3-0-5). That is, the first player that obtains three goals in a row, without letting the opponent score, will win; otherwise the first player to score five points will be declared the winner of the match.
Master all techniques until you've become a legend as the greatest uber-player of all times!
Players have several new abilities that add fun twists to the classic game. All these abilities have fluid-based kinetic effects on the ball, making Plasma Pong a fast-paced and exciting game.

Mega Man Project X

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/Megamanprojectx/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Mega Man Project X is a flash game based on the 2D classic.
