The game is meant to annoy you. Before you can fight the aliens you must equip your gun using the inventory screen, by dragging the gun into your hands. To fire the gun, you must reload it first by clicking the revolver icon on the lower-right side of the screen. Items you pick up along the way, must be equipped the same way before you can use it.<br />
