You are presented with a quiet city scene where you control heaps of rubble dropped from the sky by a tiny alien (Minibyte), who decided to "pick on the big people" by planting his "Portable Entertainment System" (a giant crane) over Earth. The goal of the game comes in three tiers: to score by squishing people, play pentomino, and challenge your reflexes as blocks fall at random speeds. The traditional set of blocks are mixed with "surprise blocks" which you have to quickly find a place for in the grid. Even the individual block tiles are purposefully vague and hard to distinguish to add to the chaos. The game is very challenging to ones reflexes. The goal is to keep your grid under control as long as possible so that you can continue scoring on pedestrians. TC:E is a modern world total conversion modification of the free, popular, stand-alone first-person shooter Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. That is, TC:E is an entirely free game, made by gamers, for gamers.

TC:E is currently being developed by GrooveSix Studios and TeamTerminator. While TeamTerminator is known for the famous Q3 based TrueCombat series, GrooveSix Studios was initiated by retired TeamTerminator co-founder Coroner to develop a Return to Castle Wolfenstein modification that is not released. Thus, as very experienced Q3-based content creators, we hope to be able to serve the gaming community with a quality offering.
Now, the most important question: "What can you expect from TC:E?" TC:E is a tactical-team shooter, set up in a modern-world environment. TC:E puts you into the role of elite mercenary soldier in the conflicts of two internationally operating forces.
Some require all of the green dots to be connected, and others need to have their bullets connected back to them. There are bosses at the end of each level that will take a bit more thinking to destroy. The game is controlled entirely with the mouse, but the keyboard can be used as well.

Crayon Physics

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/crayonphysics/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

You play with crayons and physics. It was originally developed in less than seven days for the 94th "Wednesday Workshop" at SoCoder, but since then it's sort of grown and developed a life of its own - nothing groundbreaking, but curiously good fun...

Your aim is to zap all of the millenipedes on each wave while dodging spiders, snails and of course the millenipedes themselves. They'll make their way down the screen until eventually they hit the bottom, at which point they will roam around the player area until you shoot them.

Each dead millenipede will, for some environmentally friendly reason, grow into a mushroom. These serve no purpose aside from blocking the movement of other centipedes and hindering your bullets. Each mushroom takes four shots to completely destroy.

If you touch any enemy, be it a millenipede, spider or snail, you lose a life - but if you can manage to shoot them first then a nice points bonus will head your way. See how long you can survive and aim for the top spot on the highscore table!

In the beginning you create your LCS founder's background and start alone, but you can recruit as many liberals as you like. The mission is pretty straight forward, change the nation, place liberals in charge. There are many ways to do so, using raw violence, kidnapping important people and converting them into sleepers, changing public opinion, invading the radio station and broadcasting your ideals, freeing criminals, and so forth.

Please be aware that LCS is a rather mature game with lines inappropriate children, but they add a nice comical aspect to it.

Drain Storm

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/DrainStorm/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Horizontal Shooter

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/HorizontalShooter/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Frets on Fire

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/fretsonfire/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Frets on Fire is a game of musical skill and fast fingers.
