Like Stadium before it, part two offers Pokemaniacs everywhere a chance to duel with the monsters they've been so carefully preening in the Game Boy Pokemon Gold and Silver games. Using the Transfer Pak to great effect, Stadium 2 allows users to upload Pokemon from their Game Boy cartridges and battle them in several scenarios. There are literally thousands of battles to be had in Stadium 2. Where Stadium had three Stadium Cups, Stadium 2 has four, and two of those are separated into four eight-trainer battles each. In addition, a Pokemon Academy has been added to the fun. Here, players can access a huge database of Pokemon information, participate in classes and ultimately take tests on what they've learned. The mini-games are back, as is the ability to play your Game Boy carts onscreen at Game Boy Tower.

Pokemon Stadium

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/pokemonstadium/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Battle add-on to the popular Game Boy titles, based on the Japanese Pokemon Stadium 2 (Nintendo further enhanced the game by adding a gallery mode). In the game's Stadium Mode, one player competes in 80 different battles, divided into four tournaments. Beat the Stadium Mode and you're in for a bonus battle against the ultimate Pokemon warrior, Mewtwo, as well as a secret mode that gives you 80 brand-new, and devilishly tough battles. There is virtually no way you can beat the secret mode without having trained your own, elite Pokemon . One to four players compete against each other or the computer in a no-holds-barred battle with customizable rules. You can select rental Pokemon for these battles -- but that makes them much too predictable since their selection of techniques isn't determined by the trainer. These two games were developed by Chunsoft and were published by Nintendo.

This game is the ninth entry in Chunsoft's Fushigi no Dungeon series. It is a semi-turnbased dungeon crawl; a graphical roguelike. The two versions are compatible with each other through the Nintendo DS dual-slot features, where information may be transferred from one game to the other.

The two versions are mostly identical, with the Blue version taking advantage of the dual-screen features and increased graphical capabilities of the Nintendo DS (thus the team's condition can appear on one screen in Blue while playing in the other, while this screen must be accessed through a menu in Red). The game also begins with six Pokémon exclusive to each version. Unlike other games, however, players may unlock these exclusive Pokémon through Wonder Mail missions.

The game begins with the human main character turning into a Pokémon. The starter Pokémon is one of sixteen Pokémon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chikorita, Cubone, Cyndaquil, Eevee, Machop, Meowth, Mudkip, Pikachu, Psyduck, Skitty, Squirtle, Torchic, Totodile and Treecko) and is determined by a personality quiz taken at the beginning of the game. The partner Pokémon is one of ten Pokémon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Pikachu, Squirtle, Torchic, Totodile and Treecko) and is chosen by the player. The player's gender also factors into what Pokémon the player is. If the player chooses to play as a boy, he cannot be Skitty, Chikorita, or Eevee (but he may still choose Chikorita as a partner). Likewise, if the player chooses to play as a girl, she cannot be Cyndaquil, Machop, or Meowth (but she may still choose Cyndaquil as a partner). Also, the Pokémon type of the partner cannot be the same as the type of the player. For example, if the player is a Mudkip, he/she cannot partner with a Totodile.

The main gameplay mechanic is the Rescue Team. It initially consists of the main character and his or her partner. After a successful battle, other Pokémon have a chance of joining the rescue team if the player owns that Pokémon's "Friend Area." Friend Areas can be acquired through completing certain missions and bought from Wigglytuff in the Pokémon Square. During a mission, the most a player can bring is three Pokémon; the fourth slot is reserved for an escort Pokémon or a fourth Pokémon that wants to join the team. Another factor is team size. Every Pokemon has a body size of one, two, three, or four. The maximum team size is six, including new recruits, so if you have a size six team to begin with you cannot recruit any more members.

The game is mission-based with jobs. Jobs can be found on the bulletin board, requested by mail, or initated through story events, and include rescuing Pokémon, delivering items, or escorting clients. If the player successfully completes a job, they are given a reward. They also earn Rescue Points, which can increase a team's rank. Each mission also comes with a Wonder Mail password. In the main menu, players can input passwords for other Wonder Mail missions, so players can trade Wonder Mail passwords online.
For example, a Lure Ball is more effective if used against a Pokémon caught with a fishing rod, and a Friend Ball will make a Pokémon more comfortable and friendly to its trainer much quicker. To obtain these balls, Apricorns must be picked from special plants found throughout Johto, and Kurt in Azalea Town will fashion these into the different balls based on their color. However, Kurt can only make one ball at a time, and players must wait until the next day for Kurt to finish the ball. Although these specialized Poké Balls and Apricorns were not in future generations, there were other specialized balls.

The game introduces shiny Pokémon, i.e. Pokémon which have a different coloring than normal Pokémon of their species, and which appear very rarely (estimated to be a 1/8192 chance). In this second generation of games (though not the third generation which followed on GBA), these Pokémon often have better stats than regular non-shiny Pokémon, but can never get the maximum stats for that species. There is one exception to the shiny Pokémon system: A Red Gyarados can be found at the Lake of Rage. Since it is part of the storyline, it is impossible not to encounter this Pokémon.

The Pokérus (Pokémon virus) was introduced. The virus is even rarer (About a 1 in 32768 chance) to get than a "shiny" Pokémon, and raises the amount of stats that the playerâ€ââ€

Pokemon Gold

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/PokemonGold/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver are two Game Boy Color enhanced video games for the Nintendo Game Boy. Released in 2000, these games started the second generation of the vastly popular Pokémon video game series. These games feature a new region called Johto, 100 new Pokémon and many more additions. They are also backwards compatible with the first generation of games (Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow).
It was released on the Nintendo Game Boy and features Super Game Boy and Game Boy Color enhancements. The game follows Pokémon Red, Blue and Green versions. Yellow, like the other 8-bit Pokémon games (Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, and Crystal), is not compatible with the newer Advance generation games.

The game was released in Japan on September 12, 1998 and is known as Pocket Monsters Pikachu . It was released in North America on October 1, 1999 and was called Pokémon: Special Pikachu Edition by Nintendo. In both regions, the games are often referred to by fans as simply Pokémon Yellow, Pokémon Yellow Version, or Pokémon Pikachu. The name (and Pikachu on the cover) is due to the fact that Trainers get Pikachu as their starter Pokémon (like Ash Ketchum did in the animated series). The game was very successful; it became the top-selling handheld game for weeks and entered the Guiness Book of Records in 2001.

Pokemon Green

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/PokemonGreen/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In Japan, Pocket Monsters was first released as Pocket Monsters Aka ("Pocket Monsters Red") and Pocket Monsters Midori ("Pocket Monsters Green") while Red and Blue were released in North America and elsewhere. It contained Pokémon that could be found in places not originally in the Aka and Midori versions. An example is that Ditto was added to the Rock Tunnel and Lickitung could be caught in the wild. Also, Unknown Dungeon was totally redesigned, and its layout was used by the Red and Blue versions.

Pokemon Blue

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/PokemonBlue/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

At the beginning of the games, the player can choose Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as their starter Pokémon from Professor Oak. After that choice, they cannot catch the other two starters or their evolutions in the wild or by trading with in-game NPCs, so, to complete the Pokédex, the player must link games and trade with other players in the real world. The basic story is to become the best trainer in all of Kanto; this is done by raising Pokémon, defeating Gym Leaders for Badges, and eventually challenging the Elite Four, the greatest Trainers in the land.

The player has a childhood rival, the grandson of Professor Oak. This character's default name is the color of the version owned (i.e. in Red version, the character's default name is Red). If one plays Red, the rival is Blue. He will repeatedly battle the player at certain points in the game to test the player's Pokémon; being defeated is an indication for the player to level up his or her team. He will always choose for his starter a Pokémon that has a type advantage over the player's chosen one; for example, if the player chooses Squirtle, he will choose Bulbasaur, a Grass-type Pokémon, giving it an advantage over Water-type Squirtle.
They are two of the best-selling video games of all time. Set in the fantasy world of Kanto, the game's stories follow the progress of the central character in his quest to master Pokémon battling. Both games are independent of each other but feature largely the same plot and, while both can be played separately, it is ideal for the player to refer to each in order to complete the game.

While one of your goals is to figure out what exactly turned you into a Pokemon, you've also got to help Pokemon as part of the Rescue Force. You start off serving your duties with your original partner Pokemon at your side, but as you progress, more Pokemon join the Rescue Force and become selectable.
Players will have the ability to train and catch pokemon while battling other trainers online in real-time. The POL game is closely based on the original Pokemon Gameboy games, with most of the traditional elements remaining intact. The POL enviroment is completely 2D and replicates the graphics used in the original games. The POL MMORPG has the ability to support hundreds and even thousands of simultaneously connected players. This means that you will interact in a vast virtual world, with many kingdoms and quests, with players from all over the world.
Pokemon Online seeks to involve the community wherever possible.

Pokemon Online has proven itself to be innovative in its approaches to nearly everything - from being the first Pokemon MMORPG project to incorporating a community-driven spirit into the development of the game. This is a site where you aren''t just a fan - you''re a member. This is a community. This is where you can contribute on your own time, as much or as little as you want. This is the ultimate Pokemon MMORPG. This is Pokemon Online.

What is the Pokemon Crater Battle Arena?
The Pokemon Crater Battle Arena is an online game where you can catch your own online Pokemon and battle them against other players.

How much does it cost?
Nothing! The game is absolutely free to play.

Will my personal information be viewable to other players?
Only if you want it to be. Your email and other information not directly related to the game is hidden from other members by default, but you may choose for them to be shown.

What are the basics I need to know to play the game?
When you sign up, you'll choose a starter Pokemon. To catch more Pokemon, simply move around on one of the maps until another one appears. You can battle this Pokemon and try to capture it. If you capture it, it will be added to your team and you can use it to battle other people and catch more Pokemon!

When you try to login, you keep getting a message that your session has expired.
This site uses cookies to login to the arena. When the 'Session Expired' page always appears when you try to login, this means that cookies are not enabled on your browser. Change your cookie settings to accept cookies and this problem should go away.

What's the difference between Normal, Shiny, Dark, Metallic, and Ghostly Pokemon?
Shiny Pokemon have 25% more HP than Normal Pokemon and Dark Pokemon do 25% more damage than Normal Pokemon. Metallic Pokemon cannot be effected by status effects (Confusion, Freezing, etc) and Ghostly Pokemon have a chance to scare the defending Pokemon whenever they attack (scaring is another status effect, so Metallics are immune to it).

How do I catch legendary Pokemon?
Legendary Pokemon will appear randomly on the maps once you have beat every gym leader and both sets of elite 4.

Where is (pokemon name) found?
All Pokemon appear randomly on the maps. Different Pokemon are found in the caves maps versus the grass maps, and water pokemon are only found in the water.

How do you switch pokemon in your team with a pokemon in your pokemon box?
Go to the "Your Pokémon Team" page, there should be a "Switch" option, which lets you switch Pokemon. But remember, you need at least 7 pokemon in order to switch. You can't trade or release Pokemon that are in your party, only those that are in your box. If you do not have at least 7 Pokemon, you will have to catch more so you will able to switch them out of your party.

How do I get on the Top 100 Trainers list?
It takes a lot of time and patience to get on the top trainers. You need to have a lot of high level pokemon with a lot of experience, and many, many battles won to get on the top 100.

I forgot my password! What can I do?
If you provided your email, you can go here and enter your username and it will be emailed to you: Forgot Password.

Can I battle my friends and how do I do it?
You can battle your friends in a live battle. Either find them on the map and click "show battles: on" below the map and you'll find a link to battle them. You can also just enter their username on the "Battle an Online Member" page if they are online.

Can I battle other people when they are not online?
You can battle people who aren't online by going to the "Battle Any Member" page. However, their Pokemon will be computer controlled.

What are the stones (ie: Moon Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Sone, etc.)?
These stones are for evolving some of the pokemon that require a stone to evolve. Before you evolve them, you will need to buy the appropriate stone and it will be used when you evolve that Pokemon.

Why are some attacks so expensive?
Attacks that are not normal or share a type with your Pokemon are much more expensive, since if you want an attack that does not match your Pokemon, it should cost more to teach them that attack.

What do the points mean?
The points are calculated from your total experience, average experience, and total battles won. They are the same points as are displayed on the top 100 trainers list and are meant to show your relative progress. Don't be discouraged if they are really low, many of the people on the top trainers list have been here for years.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/PokemonDP/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In this 4th generation of the pokemon game series, once again you play as a boy or girl dreaming of becoming a great trainer. You set out into the world of Shinou with the task of catching, training, and possibly breeding strong pokemon. You will need these in order to beat the eight gym leaders in this game, after which you are able to challenge the Elite Four and the current champion to become the new reigning champion.
But along the way you will get involved in the plot of Team Galaxy, who intends to awaken a legendary pokemon. This legendary pokemon, like in Ruby and Sapphire, depends on the version of the game you own. Namely Dialga for Diamond and Palkia for Pearl.

This game has many features as well:

- 12 playable characters (start with 1, 11 are unlockable).
- 6 playable modes (start with 3, the other 3 are unlockable). The modes are: Classic, Quick-Play, Subtle Knife, Quick-Knife, Rescue (the only mode where you can unlock characters), and Quick-Rescue.
- Cool highscores lists; one for each mode
- Online highscores; found here: http://www.biancagames.com/scores/
- 2 player mode like the old pac-man machines; lose a life and it is the other player's turn. The only modes playable in 2 player are Classic and Subtle Knife....
- In Subtle Knife and Quick-Knife, you get to have a pokemon for a daemon. What pokemon you have depends on which character you choose to play as.
- The pokemon daemons say their corresponding pokemon cries, and they even sound fainted when they die just like they do in the actual pokemon games.
- If you are wondering, the boss's name is Bob.
- Help for this game, which is also accessable from the game's main menu, can be found here: http://biancagames.com/bobanoid_help.html
- The two characters from my other game, Space La Shae 2, are featured in this game.

Update Dec 22 2006 9:05 PM
As of right now, the game has been changed slightly.
I felt that I had made rescue mode too easy. So instead of no daemon in rescue mode and 1 life, it's yes daemon and 5 lives (without a daemon, rescue mode = easy as pie, even with 1 life, trust me).
The download link is still the same, so download again for the fixed version, the zip file has the same name but the exe inside doesn't.
Also due to this the online highscores for both Rescue and Quick Rescue have been cleared....
I tested this new version for the most part, so there should be no errors, but in the outside chance you get one, please report it.

Warhammer Pokemon War

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/warhammerpokemonwar/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

You are Pikachu and it's up to you to defeat the armies of Warhammer.
