The mission is pretty straight forward, change the nation, place liberals in charge. There are many ways to do so, using raw violence, kidnapping important people and converting them into sleepers, changing public opinion, invading the radio station and broadcasting your ideals, freeing criminals, and so forth.<br />

It fuses elements of Turn Based Strategy and Top-down shooter into a cohesive whole.<br />
<br />
The Players begin by selecting a side, either the mobile Attackers, or the static Overseers. The aim of the game is for the members of one team to annihilate all the members of the opposing team. Control flips between players on a turn-based basis, with each turn time-limited. <br />
Attackers are able to move about freely during their turns, and although they have limited hit points, they are able to respawn a certain number of times if killed. Attackers can only fire a weapon once per turn.<br />
Overseers are static supercomputers that cannot move, but are able to place defensive turrets within their zone of influence to defend themselves. Only one turret can be placed per turn, but multiple turrets can be fired per turn. Once an Overseer is destroyed, it stays destroyed.<br />

The game is currently undergoing a major upgrade to full 3D graphics, which will introduce a new first-person view for Attackers, but keep the top-down overview for Overseers. Battleships Forever is a freeware tactical Real Time Strategy game that puts you in command of a small fleet of warships in space. Combat and damage mechanics are extremely detailed. The game also features many innovative mechanics that you've never seen before. For example, the Cronus Battleship sports a Flux Shield generator that allows you to draw a defensive force shield around your ships in any shape you want. Both players get 7 pawns and 1 king on a 8x8 board. The goal is to get your opponent's king or 6 of his pawns. Each turn, the player may select 1 stone and move it straight or in an L-bow. You cannot jump over stones, but you can step onto your opponent's stone to take it. The numbers on your stones indicate the number of tiles they can move in a turn. When the Mastermind option is selected, the stones change in value when you move it. Pawns can get numbers 1-4, while the king only gets 1 or 2. A challenging game!<br />

Setting the Mastermind option (to change the alue of your stones each move) will show numbers on the board so you will know the number you will get when you move a stone there.<br />

<br />
It takes all the elements in common strategy game and distills them down to their core: competing for territory and having battles.  However, in this game, once a tile is placed, it can no longer be moved, only captured, so unlike most strategy games, a game of Proximity is usually over in about 10 minutes.  Also, since the rules are pretty simple, it appeals to a lot of people who aren't normally into the big, unwieldly, and complex strategy games out there.<br />

The two Campaign games cover the entire war from 1939 and add the rest of the rules chiefly Research, Nationality and special units such as Tactical Air and Paratroops.<br />

The Windows version of the game has hot seat and network play for each of these scenarios. This means 2 or 3 friends can battle it out on the same computer or over a LAN or the internet. Cloak, Dagger and DNA was developed by Oidian Systems and was planned to be part of a family of games around the theme of genetic algorithms, unfortunately interest was lacking and Oidian went out of business. The game bears some resemblance to the game Snake, though in Zatacka the main goal is to make your opponent hit the wall, his kurve or your kurve. As a result, the game resembles closely to the famous Light Cycle of the 1982 movie Tron. You control the kurve by only two buttons: one makes the snake turn left; the other, right. Although the game has primitive graphics, the gameplay is considered very good and the game is loved by many fans worldwide. <br />
<br />
There's a strategic and tactical depth that goes unmatched in the small-games-to-play-on-a-break gaming world. Even though the simplicity is striking (anyone can play it) there are an infinite amount of tactics that can be applied in this game. <br />
