If you enjoy Lumines, or Bombastic, you are in for a treat. More complicated than both games combined but so intuitive once you learn the simple techniques. Line up the dice by the number of the sides, 2 two's, 3 three's,all the way to 6 sixes. Combos 'wipe out' when the wipe line crosses over them. Try your hardest not to drop a 1 as it will flip the screen around and usually happens when you are nearing the top of the grid! Simple as Dice? Think again!
Everything you need to beat a level is there from the beginning. No new pieces will appear, so one wrong move you have to re-do the level.
Once all colored blocks are destroyed, you can then clear the diamond blocks. Skulls will kill you, but you can grab an overshield to help you along your way. Image" /> Oh no! Leftover Halloween candy has gone bad, and it's up to you to clean up the mess.

History

This game was put on Newgrounds way back on 11/29/2005, and has broken the 75,000 view mark. This game is also open source; scroll down to see the notice, and scroll further to download the .fla file!

Gameplay

To play, click once on any colored candy with at least one of the same color adjacent. All similarly-colored candies will be highlighted, and text will tell you how many points it'd be worth to collect them. Keep above the minimum score to continue; how long can YOU last?

Cheats

Type c-h-e-a-t while playing and you'll hear "watch this!". Once cheats are enabled, press 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 to destroy all of the corresponding color (while racking up bunches of points!), or type "s-c-o-r-e" to get the equivalent of 10 candies at once (point value varies by level).

Hints

If you just randomly collect candy, you'll probably make it to level 5 or 6, but if you want any hope of passing further, you need to bunch multiple candies together - you'll get double the points for 4 at once than for 2 twice.

It's also important to get those bonuses! In Candy Catastrophe, you'll get a bonus for each candy that has over 90% collected. Here too, it's better to get one 96% than a few 91%s.

Save vertical candies for later unless taking them helps make a better match - sometimes you'll be able to get rid of a column on either side and can use them then.

This game is open source: if you want to change or edit this game in any way, or even keep it the same, then reuse it anywhere, go right ahead!
