Our modern and easy to use interface makes use of the latest technologies for the Web as well as Instant Messaging in order to make online chess accessible to everyone, not just the elite players. However, those elite players will find features at Chesspark that are available no where else and made just for them.

Xero In

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/xeroin/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Much of the game is still in discussion. Deluxe Pacman was a very popular Amiga shareware game that garnered many many addicted fans. Now, on both the PC and MAC, it includes all the old bonuses like glue, extra time, guns and gems, but now it is bigger and better than ever. There are many new modes of play and skill levels. Over 100 levels including bonus rounds and even some secret levels too. There are also even more bonus pickups of course, and the graphics and eye-candy have had a nice boost. Profiles make the game even more addictive and we hope to add even more very very soon. This is a much more recent release from us and so is still in active development but it is already at a fully playable, stable and bugfree stage. I played a much larger part in this games development, doing the usual testing and QC, but i also recorded the entire voice set, created all the levels and many of the tilesets are my own. Of course being a part of this one from the start also made it easier to implement many of my own ideas for the game of which many are in :) One of the great bits is in duel mode where you can come back as a ghost and chase round your rivals for some revenge... Great fun. A must try, so grab the demo now !!

Xeno Fighter

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/fight/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 MMO turn based fighting game.

And Yet It Moves

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/andyetitmoves/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

And Yet It Moves is basically a mixture between a jump and run and a puzzle game, with the extra ability to rotate the world. The player can run left, right and jump, but can also turn the world clockwise and counterclockwise by 90 degrees. When this happens physics works the following way: as soon as rotation starts all objects get frozen and after rotation objects continue to move with their velocities (direction and speed) they had before. With this ability you can move objects and yourself but also need to keep orientation and watch out for dangerous situations. Don't worry though, your made out of paper so you can die as often as you want to.
The overall goal is to get through this collage of ripped paper. And if your quick - and don´t die too often - you might get into the highscore list.
This is a gameconcept for a mediainformatics course held by the igw at Vienna University of Technology. We made two levels that show different aspects of how actual gameplay could be like. The first level - the cave - is more jump and run style and is an easy one where you can practice and improve your rotation skills. The second one - the jungle - is an advanced level with more sophisticated puzzles. To solve them you have to apply the physical consequences of rotating the world to the player and other objects simultaneously.

BowWow

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/BowWow/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 Black holes suck.
It will be entering an open beta phase in a few months. Adventurers, vagabonds, and wandering people of all races are cordially invited to take our young world to the test. At first, Arindal will be available in German and Dutch. Other European languages may follow later but there will not be an English version.

With this multiuser online roleplaying game, player participate in the game over the internet, as a healer, mage or fighter in the eternal battle against evil. The world continues to grow through regular updates and the actions of inhabitants have an influence on the development of the world. In Arindal, live quests will be run where the players have to solve puzzles and adventures together. Often, these campaigns take just a few hours but sometimes they may last days.

Arindal is based on the ClanLord engine from Delta Tao Software. A remarkable aspect of this game is that from the first breath of your avatar, everything evolves around teamplay. The various races and classes combine their skills and talents to grow and survive in a dangerous world. It is all about sense of adventure, helping others, cooperation and heroism. Arindal is, in the first instance, a community-game and not a multi-ego-online-roleplaying game. Helped by the clear chat interface, whole groups can easily synchronize their actions and tactics, new players will find themselves involved quickly with clans or hunting parties.

Arindal wants to offer depth, instead of only having a broad world. A world which always contains new things to discover and to explore. Content instead of a nice wrapping. Graphics and animations are limited to a simple 2D environment, but this is more than enough to light the fire of your imagination, but not comparable with what the mainstream market offers.
"We see Arindal as a niche game for [role]players who simply want more game-depth - and who don't need graphical gimmicks for that" says FairTales cofounder David Jacobson.

Behind the game stands licensee FairTales Entertainment from Amstelveen, Holland. In this forge of creativity a large part of the GameMaster team has gathered including those, who, several years ago, helped to bring a similar game (Alchera) to Europe. After the beta phase, Arindal will become commercial, and players will have to pay a monthly fee to continue playing the game.

Looking forward to meet you ingame.
