Both players get 7 pawns and 1 king on a 8x8 board. The goal is to get your opponent's king or 6 of his pawns. Each turn, the player may select 1 stone and move it straight or in an L-bow. You cannot jump over stones, but you can step onto your opponent's stone to take it. The numbers on your stones indicate the number of tiles they can move in a turn. When the Mastermind option is selected, the stones change in value when you move it. Pawns can get numbers 1-4, while the king only gets 1 or 2. A challenging game!

Setting the Mastermind option (to change the alue of your stones each move) will show numbers on the board so you will know the number you will get when you move a stone there.

The game bears some resemblance to the game Snake, though in Zatacka the main goal is to make your opponent hit the wall, his kurve or your kurve. As a result, the game resembles closely to the famous Light Cycle of the 1982 movie Tron. You control the kurve by only two buttons: one makes the snake turn left; the other, right. Although the game has primitive graphics, the gameplay is considered very good and the game is loved by many fans worldwide.

There's a strategic and tactical depth that goes unmatched in the small-games-to-play-on-a-break gaming world. Even though the simplicity is striking (anyone can play it) there are an infinite amount of tactics that can be applied in this game.
In Kwonho, the player has the role of creating his own character, choosing a fighting style and buying (or acquiring) clothing and/or items (such as tatoos, guitars, teddy bears and other miscellaneous items). A player's goal is to gain experience by fighting other players in a variety of game modes, or by fighting computer-controlled opponents in the Mission Mode. By winning these fights, a player acquires credits, which he can use to buy new techniques or items, and train to become the best fighter there is. However, there are items in the game that can only be purchased with Hangame/Ijji coins. This game was created for the Retro Remakes competition 2004.

Playing the Game

Ten challengers await, each with ten cookie puzzles. Can you become the cookie eating king?

On each level you will be given a set number of moves in which to remove all the cookies from the puzzle board. The puzzles range in size from 2x2 up to 8x8.

To remove cookies you must make a complete row of column of the same type. This is done by scrolling them up, down, left and right.

The cookies are wrap-around - the one you move off the board will appear on the opposite side.

If all cookies are removed, you will move onto the next puzzle, and if not then you lose a "retry" and must attempt the stage again, or press escape and go back to the title screen.

When the game begins you have ten "retries" and five more are earned for every opponent you defeat.

There are passwords every ten stages, at the beginning of each new opponent.

Sounds simple? Well it is to begin with... But it get a little tougher as the levels progress.

But that's the way the cookie crumbles. Good luck!

Controls

Cursor Keys to move the cursor.
Space Bar (held down + cursors) to scroll a column or a row of cookies.

F12 on title screen to switch from windowed mode to full screen mode, and visa versa.

LinCity is an open-source free city construction game. Unlike SimCity, players build specific industries, rather then zones. The game focuses heavily on managing an economy and research development, the first leading to the latter. The game also differentiates itself through finite natural resources, such as ore, that players must extract.

Gameplay

Players begin the game with only a few buildings unlocked, residential sections, farms, and communes (charcoal burners). By managing this limited economy, the player must earn money to run an education system. Once this is developed, more complex structures become unlocked such as blacksmiths, manufacturing plants (light industry and mills), steel mills (heavy industry), hospitals, cricket fields, and universities. The end-game goal of LinCity is to construct space shuttle launchpads and evacuate the planet, before resources run out. However, an alternate "victory" can be won through the construction of renewable energy power plants and recycling centers, if a sustainable economy independent of coal and ore is acheived.

Bubble Fun

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/bubblefun/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In Bubble Fun you have to try to sweep the board by converting all of the bubbles to your color. This one is slightly different, and requires a bit more thinking than the standard methods.

There are two things to focus on, each of them a ring with 15 circles. You can rotate the outer ring with your mouse. When the colors of each of the circles match up, click the left mouse. If you've aligned them properly, you'll get points and extra time. Otherwise, you'll just lose some points. Then, the colors reset and you try again. Try to get the most rings possible in a minute and earn yourself a highscore!

There are 3 gamemodes, and 8 "skins".

Using this program, it is possible to play all sorts of games! Hangman, tic-tac-toe, and pictionary are only a few possibilities! The chat system allows players to view the image that is being drawn while chatting, and vice versa; the player who is drawing can see the chat unfold as he or she works. Linked also provides the hosting player with the ability to limit the amount of new players who can enter, as well as who can draw and who cannot.
