Faithful to FASA's pen and paper version, this game will have you exploring an extensive map in bird-eye view taking missions ("runs") from "Mr Johnsons" and build up your stats. Your party can consist of 3 elements tops, and there are 3 types of characters you can play - samurai, shaman or decker. All in all, the game's open-endedness along with the plot to uncover your brothers' death circumstances make this a game with something for every CRPG fan. Two thumbs way, way up!

Rise of the Dragon

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/rotd/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

A futuristic adventure game that borrows graphical elements from Blade Runner (in fact, the title character's name is "Blade Hunter"). You must find out what is killing--by horrible, spontaneous mutation--inhabitants of the city, before it's too late. An oriental cult, drugs, and street informants are among the places you find clues.
