A grand mystery is unwrapped before him and following leads and mysterious events he explores the dark secrets of Ankh Morpork.
Much easier than its predecessors, just as enjoyable though, Noir, just as the title indicates is a lovely noir story, narrated by the master of entertaining fiction Terry Pratchett.

RomZom

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/romzom/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 One blistering night, when all seemed quiet;
A meteor came crashing and caused a big riot!
To edge closer or not? A question unanswered
13 green cotton candies, not 4 or 5.
The story is more or less Terry Pratchett's Reaper Man, and you get to play Rincewind travelling in Ankh Morpork and beyond to bring back Death to work. The voice of Rincewind is by Eric Idle, and the game is much easier that its predecessor. From the moment you lay eyes on it you know it's something special. The unique artwork for a Flash game has a paper-cut appearance that lends a storybook atmosphere to the game. This environment perfectly suits the role you play as a young seedling trying to find its way home. Sprout has everything we love to see in a Flash game: originality, a simple design, and a beautiful presentation. Gamers who have played modern online role-playing games, or almost any computer role-playing game, or who have at any time installed or upgraded their operating system, will find themselves incredibly comfortable with Progress Quest's very familiar gameplay.

Progress Quest follows reverently in the footsteps of recent smash hit online worlds, but is careful to streamline the more tedious aspects of those offerings. Players will still have the satisfaction of building their character from a ninety-pound level 1 teenager, to an incredibly puissant, magically imbued warrior, well able to snuff out the lives of a barnload of bugbears without need of so much as a lunch break. Yet, gone are the tedious micromanagement and other frustrations common to that older generation of RPG's.

Fedora Spade

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/fedoraspade/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Hello there, gumshoe. Fedora Spade's the name. I'm a dick. What? No, not figuratively. The lady across the street might argue otherwise, but I digress. Anyway, I'm a detective, a homicide detective to be exact. I didn't grow up wanting to be a detective, mind you. I hated the cops & robbers game... the other kids always forced me to play the bad guy and gave me a good ass-kicking whenever I was caught. Not a very pleasant childhood memory, yeah? But that's beside the point. I wanted to be an astronaut. I just thought that it'd be neat to explore space, see? But it never happened, as you can probably tell. Math and physics... I can't say that they're my favorite subjects. Plus, watching the challenger explode into a big firework is pretty traumatizing.

So why did I become a homicide detective, you ask? Well, apparently it's the only job that's available for me here. Crime's rampant here in Lawless City, and dead bodies continue to crowd the streets. They need people to combat crime, expendable people; preferably people that aren't too bright in the head. People with a diploma in sociology, or psychology, or some other I-just-want-to-graduate-quickly major. People from third-rate universities who can't seem to find a decent job. People like me. It's dangerous work, but it sure beats flipping burgers. Or is it? I don't know... it's too late for regret now.

Anyway, gumshoe, I've had my fill of bourbon tonight, and I'm in the mood to talk. Why don't you sit tight and lend me a pair of listening ears, eh?

Delaware St. John Volume 3: The Seacliff Tragedy

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/delaware3/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

The sound of a hundred voices call to Delaware and lead him to the site of a decrepit amusement park.
The rest of the storyline is still a working progress...
The gameplay is purely adventure/platformer. There are no enemies in the game, which might scare away a lot of gamers, but its more about story, finding new items, planting seeds, and more.
What makes it unique is the fact that there is no enemies, the art is very cool, and its going to be a storyline with a lot of twists, turns, and comedy.
