This is my first XNA game. Very simple, very easy. This was just to sink my teeth into XNA and hopefully, if a find a host, I can put it up for download. One interface bug, but minor and doesn't effect gameplay.

AstroBall

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/astroball/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

AstroBall is a kind of space air hockey. There are 2 players. Each controls an asteroid by setting an initial power and angle at which it will be fired. The aim is to hit your opponent's goal with your asteroid. The asteroid must then cross a sun field without hitting any of them. But the suns attract your asteroid with their gravity pull. The objective is to destroy the ship of the enemy.
The game deviates from the standard space shooter by the weapons and abilities put at the player’s disposal. No fire weapons are available, but instead, the players have the power to alter the very fabric of time and space, allowing for four basic effects, described below. To win, the players have to learn how they can combine these powers creatively, and surprise the opponent by unusual tactics.
The first power, Quantum Travel is the equivalent of hyperspace travelling. It can be initiated either directly on the player, or a “quantum holeâ€

Whirled!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/whirled/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Whirled! is a mod of the Spacewar Game as an entry to the Dream Build Play Warm-Up competition. The main features are:

Cooperative Control:
While Whirled! is a single player experience against AI controlled enemies, we implemented controls and game play that make it not only possible but advantageous to play cooperatively with a friend. This is done by having both players control different aspects of the same ship. We've called this "Cooperative Control" and is really the intended way to play.

Single "Bullet":
Whirled! is a strategic shooter where each ship has only a single ballistic "Blade" to use to attack opponents. Firing and recalling the blade is done with the Right trigger; however, the blade is omni-directional and the player has the option of controlling the launch direction by using the Right analog stick. The player may use the Blade in defense as well by blocking incoming blades.

Last Alarm

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/lastalarm/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Last Alarm is a visually stunning 2d vertically scrolling shooter that challenges the player in his Arrow prototype fighter to escape the ARGUS complex, a computer AI that has assumed control of the solar system.
