It is a highly atmospheric turn-based fantasy wargame, with an unusual first-person perspective.<br />
<br />
The game owes a heavy debt to The Lord of the Rings, and also features a quest mode. One of its most interesting features is the recruitment of other playable Lords.<br />
<br />
The original game still has many fans to this day.<br />
<br />
This PalmOS version is intended to be a straight port, with minimal changes to support stylus control. In its current state it is playable, but has a few bugs and missing features. It consists of 4 single-screen levels with a different key feature on each. Even in BBC Micro terms it was early and simplistic, so don't expect too much from it.<br />

Avoid spikes, and spines and deadly cubes, while crushing all the cylinders contained in each level. When you have destroyed all the cylinders the exit will become open and you can cross the exit to the next corridor.<br />

Score points for distance travelled, and cylinders crushed.<br />
<br />
Watch your time, if it runs out then your game is over. More time can be acquired by pressing down the &quot;Green Timer Disks&quot;, but beware: Once you touch them and take the prize, they will become &quot;Red Disks of Death&quot; and cannot be touched again.<br />
<br />
Extra lives are awarded every 10,000 points.<br />
<br />
The original Spectrum game contained eight corridors, who knows what challenging courses could have been built since then!<br />
<br />
If you complete all the corridors, you will be returned to the first, but each time you loop around the level set, the time allowed will be reduced.<br />
<br />
The top five scores are saved to disk... How high can you score? How far can you get?<br />

You have been chosen for a mission: break into the rebels' ammunition depot and destroy the entire supply, thus dealing a crushing blow to the rebellion. You have been given an ACE Mk.2 Interceptor tank with which to carry out your mission.<br />
<br />
<strong>Playing the Game</strong><br />
<br />
Shoot the &quot;red boxes of ammo&quot; and the &quot;red pyramid warheads&quot; for points.<br />
<br />
You can only fire in the direction you are facing, and if there isn't a space between you and the ammo or warhead, there is no space to turn. Find a way of positioning yourself so that you can face them - they are all possible, but some may be puzzling.<br />
<br />
Destroy them all and a beacon will appear showing where to place your tank to be beamed to the next ammo-dump in the complex.<br />
<br />
The rebels are trying to destroy you before you accomplish your mission, with their orbital laser, but your jamming device can keep them from getting a lock for a while.<br />
<br />
Keep an eye on the timer, when it runs out the jammer will fail, and the laser will be able to destroy you.<br />
<br />
There are security droids and enemy tanks in the complex, which will try and tag you with and electronic marker - if you are touched and marked, the laser will be able to lock on despite your jamming-device!<br />
<br />
Extra lives are awarded every 50,000 points.<br />
<br />
This version (like the original game) has 16 levels. The original crashed after level 16, and didn't have an end sequence, the remake will take you back to level 1 to rack up a higher score.<br />
<br />
The top five scores are saved to disk, along with the level reached.<br />
<br />

It's a WWII themed FPS game, but it's not as realistic as say CoD. It has realistic textures, but the movements are Quake 3 style and it's also very fast paced like Quake 3. It's one of the best game out there in my opinion. The combination of a realistic theme with an unrealistic gameplay is just awesome. It has many nice touches that come out if you take the time to play.  Shows how much simple things and bare bones gameplay can still add up to an enjoyable experience. <br />

The environments are strange and unexpected.. Might be a bit challenging for some and frustrating at times, but I enjoyed it overall. <br />
