MASTER THE ART OF WAR: Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is about WAR, focusing on the armies and battles while de-emphasizing the tedious aspects of base and resource management.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos had an amazingly rough launch. Multiplyer failed to work properly out of the box, and patches for those issues corrupted saved campaign games in addition to breaking the save / load system. At that time, the only solution to play the single player campaign was to re-install and not play multiplyer. It was a frustration that overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable game. It is important to note that the game is very much a 'build your army and fight the other guy' process and not a resource-driven RTS. It is not particularly hard, the AI is not very bright, but the visuals are well crafted and the mechanics are farly faithful to the Games Workshop system.

Warhammer Fantasy Battles

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/WHFB/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss
