You must guide Monty Mole to freedom as he has just escaped from the slammer after being wrongly imprisoned.

The game features the same rooms and game play as the original but with MASSIVELY updated graphics by the very talented mister Smila Storey.

It also features a rocking rendition of the C64 theme tune from a real band, Press Play On Tape.
Cheers Guys, it really makes the game !!!

Super Mario: Blue Twilight DX

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/Super-Mario-Blue-Twilight-DX/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Blue Twilight combines elements from the 3D Mario titles with the classic 2D gameplay that fans have come to know over the years. Speech samples can also be heard throughout the game, along with a suitably, Halloween-themed soundtrack. The game is also set in Halloween-themed levels.

Dizzy's Bad Day

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/dbd/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

***FIRST OFF UNDER 18 OR EASILY OFFENDED PEOPLE DON'T PLAY****

Dizzy's bad day was my entry into the 2003 Retro Remakes remakes competition.

It won the comedy prize due to it's rather adult take on the Dizzy series.

It is an authentic style Dizzy game with coins to collect, characters to interact with and puzzles to be completed.
Puzzles may involve dildos, drugs and huge false moustaches but it's all in the standard Dizzy format :D.

The flimsy plot is that Dizzy's porn shop has exploded, scattering his wares accross the land.
His parents are coming to visit so he must gather everything up before they arrive and save his embarrasment.

The game is NOT for the easily offended, as the big 18 signs on the title screen may indicate.

Look out for a cameo by Magic Knight ;)

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/pitfallthemayanadventure/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a video game released in 1994 for the Super NES and Mega Drive/Genesis by Activision. It was ported to the Sega Mega-CD (1994), Sega 32X (1995), the Atari Jaguar (1995), PC (1995), and the Game Boy Advance (2001), with the last one ported by Majesco. Pitfall: TMA was also the first commercial game released for Windows 95.

In this game, the player takes the role of Pitfall Harry Jr., son of the hero of the original game, who has to find his kidnapped father.

An extra feature in all versions is the ability to play the original Pitfall! (the Atari 2600 version) after finding a secret doorway. The doorway can be found by looking for something that seems out of place. The Mega-CD, 32X and Windows ports contained extra (and expanded) levels and other enhancements over the earlier versions.

T2002

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/T2002/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

A DirectX clone of Turrican with original graphics and the original music of Chris Hulsbeck, complete with new levels. Turrican is a side-scrolling, exploration platform shooter - everything that gets in your way has to be destroyed.

Hunchback

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/hinchback/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Remake of the arcade classic hunchback.
Platform game where you must avoid hazards like fireballs, arrows and angry guards on your journey over the castle walls to save your love, Esmerelda.

Updated graphics and funky sound track gives the game a fresk lick of paint but the same game play that made it a "one more go" game remains.

Escape from Orion: The Next Generation

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/orion-tng/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This a remake of the early BBC Micro game Escape from Orion, which was a simple platform game owing a considerable debt to Donkey Kong. It consists of 4 single-screen levels with a different key feature on each. Even in BBC Micro terms it was early and simplistic, so don't expect too much from it.

The game was made in GameMaker, for the 2003 Retro Remakes Competition.
