The goal is to have programmed robots drivers racing against each others. You can also drive yourself with either a wheel or keyboard or mouse.
This concept is directly inspired from RARS.

RARS

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/rars/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

RARS is the Robot Auto Racing Simulation, a competition for programmers and an on-going challenge for practicioners of Artificial Intelligence and real-time adaptive optimal control. It consists of a simulation of the physics of cars racing on a track, a graphic display of the race, and a separate control program (robot "driver") for each car. All RARS software and activities are free and open to the public. Currently only Windows and Unix versions are actively supported, but some old DOS and OS/2 code exists and it should be possible to get it back to work.

Kid Speedy

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/kidspeedy/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 "Who's faster than Kid Speedy?
Kid Speedy is a game in which you play the character Kid Speedy, trying to win a race (or, at least, not come in last). The game was originally mentioned on Videlectrix's website as a joke game concept before being made available as an actual game on July 10, 2006. It can be found at Videlectrix's site, or at Homestar Runner since characters from that site can be unlocked as playable characters in the game.

On January 28, 2007, a new page called "Viidelectrix" appeared on the Videlectrix website. It's specifically for Wii owners using the Internet Channel trial version and it links to Wii-friendly versions of Kid Speedy and three other games.

Jim Beam Rally

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/jimbeamrally/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Create A Ride

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/createaride/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Choose a car type and customize it how you like.
