There are obstacles to explore, bits and pieces to collect and puzzles to solve -- requiring a combination of brains and collaborative teamwork. As players begin to explore, their creative skills will grow and they will be ready to start creating and modifying their surroundings -- the first step to sharing them with the whole community.
Characters have the power to move anything in this glued and stitched-together landscape; they have the power to design, shape and build both objects and entire locations for others to play.
There's no complicated level editor; all of these skills can be learnt by simply playing the game. Creativity is part of the gameplay experience and playing is part of the creative experience. Players can make their world as open or as secretive to explore as they like.
Maneuver and rotate blocks as they fall so that 3 or more of a color are adjacent to each other. By achieving this, the blocks will be destroyed and the player will collect points. As blocks are destroyed, connected blocks are freed to move independently and blocks above will fall to fill the empty spaces. Unlike other puzzle games, the game board is a living entity where the blocks obey the laws of physics. Since the tower and every element obey the laws of physics, the player has to pay attention to balance the tower and to carefully position every element.

During the game more and more elements with increasingly complicated shapes have to be stacked on top of each other. In doing so, the time available to place an element decreases with every level. The faster an element is placed, the more points the player gets. If an element falls upon the floor, the level is lost and the player has to begin again.

When the rule "no equal colors" is switched on the level is also lost if two elements of the same color touch each other. The higher the tower at the end of a level is, the greater the altitude bonus which the player gets is. The highest points are awarded to those players, who build the highest towers as fast as possible while obeying the rules.

Jimmy's Lost His Marbles

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/jimmyslosthismarbles/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

A free experimental done-in-under-7-days game about losing marbles.
