In the game, the player controls a club of kids in a common neighborhood setting. The player tries to convince all of the other kids in the neighborhood to join his/her club. The player can do this in three main ways: treefort building, military might, and economic power. If the player chooses to focus on treefort building, he/she tries to build a huge treefort that stretches to the tops of the trees. This treefort must have the coolest stuff in the whole neighborhood. Only then will the other kids in the neighborhood take notice and want to join. If the player focuses on military might, he/she wants to engage in epic water battles with the other clubs to soak them head to toe with water. This will surely convince the other clubs that the player's club is the greatest ever. Lastly, if the player wants to spend time gaining economic power, he/she will want to build the biggest economic empire in the whole neighborhood. The player will set up lemonade stands, run paper routes, and sell treats to everyone in the neighborhood, gaining more money than any kid could ever get even after a lifetime's worth of allowance. The other kids won't be able to resist.

The player's ultimate goal is to eventually convince all of the kids in the whole town to join his/her club. To do this, the player must go through every neighborhood in the town, convincing the kids one neighborhood at a time. By the time the player convinces all of the kids in the town to join his/her club, the player will have enormous treeforts, complete with zip lines, water turrets, clubhouses, and more. He/she will know what it takes to plan out a raid on a two-level treefort with only three kids and their water balloons. The player will also understand how to manage lemonade stands to get the most Moms and Dads to buy lemonade and how to make sure all of the parents get their newspaper, even though the only cool section in there is the Funnies.

FizzBall

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/fizzball/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Why has everyone fled the islands?
Based on the cutsey graphics alone you would be forgiven for writing the game off as a sacharine dud but thats hardly worth your time.
Hardly the case of course, as Viva Pinata is part harvest moon part Sim City.

The goal is to create a fully functioning habitat pleasant enough to attract any number of candy based life forms to settle down.
Distubingly enough, in order to do this, you have to encourage certain pinatas to not only mate, but also to hunt down weaker pinatas for dinner. Break one and their candy litters the ground while a chorus of kids scream with delight.

Are you having trouble finding a game that still has those old quick reflex game mechanics you use to enjoy in the arcade, something that is tough enough to challenge you yet tame enough for your children?

Dispell captures the great game play of the old arcade shooters and adds its own non-violent twist, our goal was to remove the mindless violence but keep the action. The resulting "Change, Catch, Collect" game play mechanic sets Dispell apart from all other shooters.

Set in a fantasy world with a unique cast of witches, warlocks and mutated marsupials, Dispell puts an Australian twist on an old genre.
