You control a little amnesiac who runs around helping out these rabbit-ish creatures called Mimigas while trying to find your way out of the giant cave inside the floating island which makes up the game's setting.
It is adapted from the text-based interactive fiction game Vespers, by Jason Devlin.

Vespers, the text IF game, won numerous awards in recent interactive fiction competitions, including first place at the 2005 IFComp and "Best Game" and "Best Writing" (among others) at the 2006 XYZZY awards. Now Jason has joined Orange River Studio in our attempt to bring Vespers to life in 3D, while maintaining the richness of the original text version.
You play Jack Malone, an adventure hunter, who explores several huge mansions in search of gold at the end. You can't kill anything; you simply avoid the bad guys, while you search for keys that allow you to open doors that lead to new areas. Mansions are filled with traps, puzzles, and secrets.

Scarab of RA

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/scarabofra/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Released in 1987 by Semicolon Software, this shareware adventure game for the Mac was an instant success.

You play the role of an archaeology student entering the newly-discovered Great Pyramid of RA the Sun-God. Your objective is to explore the pyramid and devine its secrets.

The goal of the game is to gain prestige and, of course, to survive the creatures and puzzles the pyramid throws your way.

The interface is point-and-click, and is reminiscent of the original Wizardry.
Created by Mateusz Skutnik, Submachine is a compelling mystery that only gets more intriguing as time goes on. Scraps of paper, words etched into walls, and archaic computers leave clues as to what the Submachine is, and how you must escape it. All of the (so far) 5 Submachine games tie into one another, and references to previous ones are riddled throughout.

UnEarthed Gods

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/unearthedgods/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 Why have you disturbed us,

To be notified when the game is available: Take a potato, cut it in half and insert a small piece of garlic in one half(it's important the piece is small...but not too small!), bind this in animal skin and bury it on an open hillock facing south.
The down and dirty:
This has been in development in a while. There is still a good deal of work to do to finish this and I'm reevaluating how I can best do this. Right now I'm planning on a more focused version. Focusing on the action of hand to hand weapons combat, and less on the magic casting and deep role playing aspect. There will still be magic but not the more complex type I have been planning for. Any feedback you can give me about what you think given the little you've seen will help me direct the future development. Your comments are most appreciated!

Thanks for taking a look!
