Your goal is to navigate a mass-trail propulsion craft through zero-G space and survive as long as you can. There are other crafts (chasers) around, trying to cut you off with their trails. Avoid crashing into trails and showoff some fancy flying and shooting skills for extra score.

Koronis Rift Remake

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/koronisrift-remake/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

On your way through the galaxy you stumble upon the legendary planet Koronis. This planet was used by the ancient people as experimenting ground for technology. These technological modules are incredibly valuable. And you seem to have found the main resort!

At once you let Psytek prepare the rover and beam down onto the radioactive wasteland of Koronis. Too bad that the automatic defense system is still alive and active...

Use your courage and wit, gather as many modules as possible, enhance your rover with them and destroy the defense system!

Lode Runner: The Legend Returns

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/legendreturns/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 From the box description:

You're the ultimate thief, racing underground through the Evil Empire to regain your people's treasures. You'll be a rich famous hero-if you're not ripped to bits by the deadly Mad Monks, that is.

Sopwith XNA

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/sopwithxna/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Sopwith XNA is a remake/update of Sopwith II. I have tried to keep the fun simple gameplay intact, whilst adding a few extra bits and pieces of my own. This was a small project designed to let me learn better game development using XNA, as well as trying to keep focused on a single project through to completion.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/pitfallthemayanadventure/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a video game released in 1994 for the Super NES and Mega Drive/Genesis by Activision. It was ported to the Sega Mega-CD (1994), Sega 32X (1995), the Atari Jaguar (1995), PC (1995), and the Game Boy Advance (2001), with the last one ported by Majesco. Pitfall: TMA was also the first commercial game released for Windows 95.

In this game, the player takes the role of Pitfall Harry Jr., son of the hero of the original game, who has to find his kidnapped father.

An extra feature in all versions is the ability to play the original Pitfall! (the Atari 2600 version) after finding a secret doorway. The doorway can be found by looking for something that seems out of place. The Mega-CD, 32X and Windows ports contained extra (and expanded) levels and other enhancements over the earlier versions.

Natto-Cat

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/natto-cat/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Natto-Cat is a unique, cute but violent Boulderdash style arcade game. You play as cyborg cat RB51, exploring underground caves and collecting cat snacks.

Dangers include falling dried plums and walking, exploding bowls of custard. Furthermore, some cat snacks have been force-fed to cave rabbits, who also explode! And keep an eye out for expanding green peas, which can quickly fill a cave or block the exit...

When enemies explode, blood (or custard) splatters on nearby objects... so the game is a bit violent.

A cave editor is also included so you can make your own caves.
