The slant on the gameplay comes in power-ups, which can change the numbers on the dice you're about to roll, send an opponent to the hospital (think jail in Monopoly) or upgrade all your owned properties to landmarks (think hotels in Monopoly), among other things.

The biggest difference, and what makes the game much quicker is the smaller board size, inability to trade and lack of "monopolies". Each property runs from one star to four star, and each star is worth $100 (buy a three star property for $300, for example). Then, when upgrading it (it can be upgraded three places), each rank costs that amount (upgrading a four star property to max is $1600, then!) and whatever the value is, that's what opponents (or, unfortunately, sometimes you) pay (so a two star place upgraded all the way - 3 times - is $800).

The game is much easier to figure out after a few play throughs, though, so give it a shot!

Tilt!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/tilt/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

<img style="float: left; clear: left;" src="http://static.greatgamesexperiment.com/userimages/8/81956f27904f7e244bd5a1ef2becbbb7_sq.gif" title="Tilt!
