We hope to create the ultimate version of Mario Kart (MK) by combining all of the best aspects into one game. We're not simply recreating one version of MK, but using the best parts of each. We want to have all the traditional weapons, characters, and maps but also bring out new weapons that make game-play interesting. We're redesigning the maps so that they keep their appeal, but truly utilize the power of the source engine. We plan to have at least 16 different characters, all the ones you know and love as well as some others from the Super Mario World.

Team Fortress 2

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/tf2/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

If you're ready for the challenge of true team-based online action, you'll find it in Team Fortress 2. With TF 2, you'll go into battle as part of a cohesive squad of fellow warriors all bent on the same goal - whether it's storming a beach, demolishing a bridge or escorting a VIP to safety. And you'll do it knowing your teammates are watching your back as carefully as you're watching theirs. Begin by assuming one of twelve roles, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking for a straight-up fight, you'll choose Marine or Commando. Prefer the shadows? You'll make a cunning Spy or Sniper. Medics and Engineers support their teammates through bravery and ingenuity. Focus the raw force of your team's talents through communication and strategizing.
You play as either four survivors that try to go from Point A to Point B, or you have the choice to play as one of the many zombie bosses. Now you may think this will get repetitive in time, but that's not true. The gameplay is different every time you play. Now this game heavily depends on teamwork, if you stroll along by yourself, your going to most certainly die. Weapon choice is simple, you can use MP5's to Uzis. The story is that the in a city have been infected with a sort of rabies that have turned them into zombies. These zombies aren't slow, they're fast and have the ability to climb fences. Oh, I forgot friendly fire is always on, so don't be trigger happy, and also don't jump right in front of your teammates expecting you won't get hurt, because you will. Why is friendly fire always on? The fact is, it makes the game more challenging. If there was no friendly fire, the game would too easy and would be a breeze to finish.

Half-Life 2 Capture the Flag

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/hl2ctf/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Half-Life 2 Capture the Flag is a mod for half-life that lets you play Capture the Flag on all of the Half-Life 2 deathmatch maps, and more.

Natural Selection 2

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ns2/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Steam/Source powered sequel to the first-person shooter real-time strategy hybrid hit, Natural Selection.

Chain Reaction: Detonator

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/chainreactiondetonator/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss
