Serenade follows a young man from a small village in a world that is on the edge fo destruction. To keep balance in the world, an alternate dimension exists that provides the opposite of the happiness this world enjoys. But that world has been torn apart as, defying it's own properties, it's king has died. The king's daughter is sent to Terrana to seek a hero who can vanquish the darkness that is spreading over Terrana and unite the two worlds to create a world that is in itself balanced and equal.
