You quickly spot the cards for a Full House and arrange them onto one line to form a hand. That was easy! Ch-ching! Five hundred chips. Now you spot four Kings! That's worth 1,000 chips. You start moving them onto a single line, but it messes up your Full House. OK, a little bit of finesse, and you are able to save both the Full House and the Four of a Kind. Now you notice the clock running down. Do you cash in or take a chance to get more points, maybe losing what you already have? You wonder what kind of scores your friends in your Club have. Will this hand be good enough to compete?

You find yourself in a ThinkTank... just one of many brain slaves imprisoned by Alien Mind Control-- only you have managed to escape their brain rays. But the moment you are free, you are besieged on all sides by insane bot-tanks. You must destroy or be destroyed and keep on your toes at all times. Luckily you can collect powerups that give you wacky weapons to help you stay alive. As you progress through each level, the bot tanks get smarter, stronger and crazier as Alien Mind Control reprograms the bot tanks to match your wits. Your goal is to beat the bosses, then rescue your brain-brethren and continue the fight on other worlds.
This is no-holds-barred warfare and to the victor go the points. You can be catapulted or thrust in any direction by rolling over the boost and jump pads to escape attack or rush the enemy. The lush, green hills are scattered with bots on the warpath, bots choking in their own smoke, floating orbs with special powers and ammunition, boulders, trees, AND the dreaded pit of doom. The goal here is to keep your brain intact, and triumph over bots of every shape, size, speed and skill.
You are cast into a veritable feeding frenzy of tanks. You need to simultaneously track the position of your tank relative to the scrum ball using your radarscope, while navigating your tank along the bumpy terrain. If you are quick enough to pick up the ball yourself, you must make a mad dash to the goal, evading the thirsty pack of mad bots heavy on your trail. You win by capturing the most scrum balls in the allotted time.

The general objective of the games is to create a series of Rube Goldberg devices: arrange a given collection of objects in a needlessly complex fashion so as to perform some simple task (for example, "put the ball into a box" or "light a candle"). Available objects ranged from simple ropes and pulleys to electrical generators, bowling balls and even cats and mice. The levels usually have some fixed objects that cannot be moved by the player, and so the only way to solve the puzzle is carefully arrange the given objects around the fixed items. There is also a "freeform" option that allows the user to "play" with all the objects with no set goal or to also build their own puzzles with goals for other players to attempt to solve.
Anyone? No? Well okay-perhaps the hairnet is for you- and, if so, you'll be getting quite acquainted with it and the smell of cherry pie in Diner Dash. This deceptively simple game will certainly help you to sympathize for the hard working waitresses of your favorite greasy spoon if nothing else. As orders, dishes and customers pile up you'll have to try your best to organize the chaos, fulfilling each order in turn and satisfying each customer promptly to maximize your cash-flow while dealing with an ever increasing stream of old people. While Old folks may not mistakenly hit the gas instead of the break-thusly plowing through your diner window in their 1988 Lincoln Continental-they'll certainly prove a nuisance as they are truly slow and reward you with really poor tips. The pop of astronomy successfully hybridizes top-down shooters and puzzle matching; creating a blend of addictive game play quite unlike the myriad of Zuma/Luxor clones you'll find on competing casual game portals. It also earns the dubious distinction of being one of the few 360 Live arcade titles worth shelling out MS points for and is $11 cheaper than the PC equivalent. 4 unique unlockable astro pilots make it worth playing through multiple times though it bears mentioning that there is no online head to head multiplayer. Based on the cutsey graphics alone you would be forgiven for writing the game off as a sacharine dud but thats hardly worth your time.
Hardly the case of course, as Viva Pinata is part harvest moon part Sim City.

The goal is to create a fully functioning habitat pleasant enough to attract any number of candy based life forms to settle down.
The first version of this game showed great sales at Big Fish Games, so I have decided to make a sequel.

Hot Potato

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/HotPotato10/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This is my first finished game made with Torque Game Builder. It was all done by me and me alone, and it took quite a while (I used actual potatoes as sprites). There's a small problem with installing on windows, you have to make your own desktop shortcut.

Outback Adventure

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/outbackadventure/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In Outback Adventure, players will experience a virtual Australian safari, exploring the Australian outback in search of some of Australia's rarest and most exotic endangered animals.

Subsonic

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/subsonic/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

The game Subsonic is an instant airborne multiplayer combat dogfighting game - a retro game just in the manner of the old 90's game Terminal Velocity. Just like TV, in Subsonic is everything about instant airborne action - just get your hands on the keyboard and the mouse, start the afterburner and fire some rockets at your enemies!
