Dodge the shapes, fill up the bar on the right, or just survive. The game makes me cringe when I see it because I only see the flaws, but little kids love it. Has high scores and is fully complete with menus and everything. Give it a download and then make fun of me!

Shadow Behind the Leaves

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/shadowbehindtheleaves/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

An Adventure Game running between the realms of physical reality and a spiritual world. Between these worlds is a mystery of the dead of Onima's brother and a larger quest than one would have first pursued.
This game is a simulator, and a puzzle game! Who knew?
This game is very basic, you try to build a town. When you reach your population goal, you go to the next town. When you get further, you get different items for your towns, such as Bushes, Castles, Hotels, Mansions, etc.

Controls
The controls are quiet simple, you use your mouse to position the item, and left click to place it.
Left click is for out-game options (Main menu, etc)

How is this a puzzle game?
You have to figure out where to place things so you have the room to get your goal, and so the people have enough time to view your town.
What is Snow Mode? It is a mode where snow comes down. That is it, SNOW! W00T!

I'll agree this is one of my less-fun games, and in general is crap, but for some reason people seem to like it O_o

Enric

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/enric/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Genre:

Comedy, Adventure, 3rd person perspective, Blood and Gore, Action, Singleplayer -Game.

Story:

Enric is walking down a corridor, looking at his awesome new sword that he just recently recieved. not looking at where he walks he step in a pile of blood and slips. he falls down a stair and unfortunately the fall caused his armor to break!
A gobling was watching the whole scenario and laughs hysterically. Enric, now wearing only his underwears with red hearts on them, is really angry! he picks up his sword and runs after the Goblin!

Game Goal:

Kill the goblin! then search for a new armor!

Other Info:

What i wrote above in the "story" tag, is hopefully going to be in a cutscene.
when the cutscene is ended, the game begins.
The first level is a simple level where you get used to the controls.
After that the game starts, and you will be able to slice through monsters and what not!

Shaders:

This game will be the first game I will create that uses Shaders. So it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Bomb Roller

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/BombRoller/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

This is my only large "Full" game. It has 20 medium length levels. You control a bomb that explodes whenever it hits a wall or falls off the level, and the objective is to get the bomb to the end of the level. There aren't any lives, so whenever you die, you start the level over at the last check point. There are a lot of different kinds of tiles, which are explained in the first 10 levels. There is also a continue last game option, so you don't have to finish all the levels in one sitting to win. You can edit the save.dat file to skip a level. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out how to do it .

NINJA nicky

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ninjanicky/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 Specimen X-72 : EX-LARGE

The culmination of years of goverment research into creating a genetically enhanced turkey that would provide the food of twenty average sized birds while consuming only eight times as much. His intelligence increased thanks to gene manipulation, he became sentient to his plight and escaped, wrecking havoc over the country-side.

A year ago, a young boy stopped his menace. His name was Nicky.

Now that unholy terror has returned and kidnapped Nicky's friend Tad, a tadpole who received similar genetic splicing as him. Nicky will be forced to complete his ninjitsu training to find and defeat the fiend.

The game uses ASCII graphics that should work on nearly any PC available. The key repeat rate (see Windows -> Control panel) will need to be set fairly high to complete the later portions of the game. The game makes extensive use of the PC Speaker; be aware of this if on a system where such noise is immutable.

Nick primarily moves through a primitive map system, where he will move in one of four directions assuming he is not blocked by a wall. The "Select" button (space bar by default) will allow him to investigate specific areas.

Some scenes involve fighting by moving and using the select button to attack. Nick can hurt any character that is directly next to him.

The end of the game is an RPG battle which was influenced by Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger.

tranquility

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/tranquility/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss
