TS: Hyperbol is a game viewed Top-Down over a flat playing-field as you take control of a Ship that you customize in order to destroy your opponents. Game Types include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Spawn Capture, Attack/Defend Objectives, and more to be added later with a Map editor.
Your ship functions more like a Battleship, as it is stationary most of the time, a Turret that you can move occasionally across the map into strategically key positions, or simply to dodge incoming fire. The farther you move, the long you have to wait to move again. Or, you can customize your ship to recharge it's fuel rapidly if you wish to use a more active flighty Ship.
There are 6 Weapon modules that will produce the weapons you use. Your factory can hold up to 6 Mods total, so if you want more of 1 type, you have to forgo access to another. Having more then 1 will make production of that type faster, and allow you to hold more in your max stock. Each Mod will produce several different projectiles, for example the basic 'Ballistics' mod will give you access to Energy Bolts, Missiles, and Shrapnel Bombs. Also, once you have build a total of 6 Mods, you have the option to Upgrade 1 of them into a lv. 2 Super version. All the weapons made by this super Mod are either upgraded, or totally new versions of the weapon. As the above example, the Bolts do extra damage, the Missiles become MIRV Packs, and the Shrapnel Bombs become Shrapnel Wedges, which fires all it's shards in a cone instead of in all directions.

Orbz

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/Orbz/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Orbz is an action/arcade game set in colorful 3D environments. These portals were used by royalty, travelers, merchants, peasants... anyone that had need to travel from one world to another could use them.

Whomever, whatever, however they were created was lost through the ages. Everyone believed that since the portals had existed since the beginning of time then they would last until the end of time. But then things changed.

Nobody knows exactly what happened. The disappearance of the portals are as much a mystery as their origins. The portals didn't all disappear at once. No, as my great-great grandfather tells it, it took about a year until the last known portal from this world to another was gone. The year was called the Year of Chaos.
They gathered and agreed to create Roika Mainland; their new world. They created water and the earth, animals and plants as well as Humans. At this time, and at all times in Roika Mainland, it is a time of peace.

After years of peace, the God's decided to leave Roika Mainland and create a new world. With this, in an attempt to maintain the golden age of Roika mainland the Gods of Lais handed all of the secrets of the land as well as the core part of the revolution-genesis gear over to the kind race of Dwarf. The God's only wish was that the world would remain as beautiful and peaceful as it was in their rule.

Simultaneously, to bring happiness to the race of human, the Gods created Comedian-Clown. The Comedian Clown became enraged about bringing happiness to the race of Human and split its personality into three identities; Imagination Ipuli, Shadow Shield and Chromospheres Bobor. Under the initiation of the evil Shadow Shield, the main body-Imagination Ipuli not only chased away the kind Chromospheres Bobor, but also created numerous Human attacking monsters. These monsters took away the revolution-genesis-gear of the race dwarf and developed a new Mainland; a mainland that was angrier, stronger and prepared to destroy the race of Human.

To save the mainland from chaos, the Chromospheres Bobor inherited the mystical ancient-science and black magic of Human. For the restoration of harmonious simple life, the citizens of Roika Mainland were forced to become warriors who would fight against the evil shadow Shield and uphold the wish of the God's.

Out numbered and out matched, the race Human prepares themselves for a battle that may prove to be their end!

True-Vol

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/true-vol/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

True-Vol is an online multiplayer first person shooter and a role playing game. The objective of the game is to "ice" your competition as many times as possible by shooting them (click left mouse button) and using your own special techniques while avoiding being "iced" yourself. Fly around the level and collect Vol power-ups (look for -=V=- on screen), which increase your abilities to shoot, fly, zoom in, and move. After collecting enough Vol power-ups you will reach an ascended state called "True-Vol". With this new acquired label comes the ability to annihilate your opponents with an incredible rate of fire, great vision, and speed. Every time you "ice" an opponent you get one point. However, if you are "iced" by an opponent you lose one point, but don't worry, you can't get negative points!
You begin the game with 200 experience points. After a few games you will have gained more experience points, which you can use to create your own techniques. During gameplay you can use your techniques by first placing your target box on an opponent at least for a moment. Once you have seen their name pop up that means they are the target which your techniques will home in on unless someone has the homing virus (or you clear your technique's target by pressing zoom-in and zoom-out simultaneously). Enter the Button Sequence of the Technique you want to use and it will fire toward the last targeted opponent. You can also target opponent's special techniques and destroy them before they hit you. Simply target one (it will say "(Playername's) Special Technique") then fire off your own technique. You can even change the course of your techniques movement by choosing another target after you have fired off a special technique.

GunZ: The Duel

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/gunz/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Welcome to Gunz, a world where fantasy and magic meet the industrial revolution.
It does not contain information on Phantasy Star Online Episode III C.A.R.D. Revolution.

Phantasy Star Online is an online, multiplayer RPG where players group into four-man teams to explore instanced areas of the mysterious planet Ragol. Players began by creating a unique character, first selecting one of three classes (Hunter, Range or Force) and then one of the four race/gender combinations available in that class. Races included Humans, Newmans - pointy-eared humans with an affinity for "techniques" - and Casts, which are essentially robots. Unlike modern MMORPGs, PSO featured a more action oriented combat system that varied depending on your class. Hunters specialized in melee weapons, Rangers in fire-arms and Forces in techniques, which were essentially spells. Another unique feature is the inclusion of an offline mode that allows players to explore the game's online areas and take on quests.

Originally released for DreamCast with a bugfix re-release subtitled Ver. 2, which was also released on Windows exclusively in the Asian market. Not long after, PSO was ported to the GameCube and Xbox with the inclusion of nearly an entire game's-worth of new content and was aptly titled Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II. Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution was later released for the GameCube, but with the action RPG gameplay traded in for card battling. In a return to the series' roots, and its original engine, Sonic Team ported the GameCube/Xbox Episode I & II on to the Windows platform with additional content dubbed Episode IV. This final version of the game was titled Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst and could be downloaded for free from the official website.

Gwabs

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/gwabs/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Gwabs is the first desktop-to-desktop combat game where you can fight your friends in real-time over the Internet. Through pollution and war the world's main populace survives in fortified mega-metropolises referred to as citadels scattered throughout uninhabitable wastelands. In 2200 when the U.E.C was first formed the decision was taken to only take those who were most important to society into the protection of the citadels.

Although many live happy lives in the serenity of the citadels and with ignorance that over half the world's population lives in turmoil, outside life is a harsh experience, many have died in the inhospitable environment but for those that have survived so far evolution has "gifted" them with something special, unknown to the U.E.C those left outside were not the only life that survived. At different locations around the world life has re-emerged stronger than before with new species of plants and animals flourishing in independent eco-systems. These are a haven for those left outside and are their means of survival.

The past is not easily forgotten though and inevitably the two divisions of humans would obviously not co-exist peacefully. The war is just about to begin, the U.E.C is unaware of what is about to unfold but tension is rising after transports between citadels have gone missing. The outcasts plan for revenge is in motion...

The Sides:

U.E.C Military/Security forces:

The U.E.C seeks to finish off what they started and destroy what is left of any resistance to its rule. The U.E.C arsenal is composed of conventional ballistic weaponry with a few elite soldiers wielding the newly developed energy weapons.

The Outcasts:

The Outcasts seek revenge against their brethren; motivated by this they have spent many years planning for their revenge. They seek to change the earth to a world full of jungles and devoid of technology or cities with humanity living alongside nature. The Outcasts of course cannot wage a war with weapons made from wood and stone, instead they utilize the "gifts" given to them by evolution to destroy their foes, and so with a variety of hand to hand combat, enhanced reflexes and elemental forces to help them along they are a deadly adversary to any U.E.C force.

PlaneShift

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/planeshift/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

PlaneShift is a cross-platform, open source, and free MMORPG in development.
No AI has been programmed yet. It's a simple game similar to risk without the border restrictions.

The original game was created by Rick Raddatz in 1987. A second game for the K desktop environment called Konquest was developed initially prior to 1999? by Russell Steffen. Much of the concept was borrowed from the Konquest source repository.

Brutal

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/brutal/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Brutal is a new breed of multiplayer fighting game that blends elements from popular fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur with those of a typical first person shooter like Half-Life 2 or the Quake series.

Unlike most fighting games that only allow 1 on 1 combat with a shared camera forcing you to attack your opponent on a single 2-dimensional plane, Brutal allows players to experience combat in full 3-dimensional glory. No more shared camera, no more miniscule arenas! Brutal lets you go where you want to and fight anywhere on the battleground! Fight on rooftops, inside buildings, on the streets or even on mountaintops, there's no limit to where you can roam! And with your own individual camera, you have complete and independent control of everything you see. With 12 unique fighters each with their own skills, fighting styles and special weapon, your experience will change every time you play.

Tired of using the same weapon every time you fight? Brutal's destructible environments mean that virtually anything in the battleground can be turned into a weapon! Cars, lampposts, trees, rocks, broken rubble and even other fighters can all be used to stomp your opponents into oblivion! Brutal is unlike any fighting game on the market and it will be BRUTAL!

Scorched 3D

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/scorched3d/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Scorched 3D is a game based on the classic DOS game Scorched Earth. Scorched 3D adds amongst other new features a 3D island environment and LAN and internet play.

The gameplay remains much like in the original game. Aiming towards a certain opponent is earily done with the A button, and after that the aiming with angle and power is exactly as in Scorched Earth. However, some weapons will react differently when landing due to the three dimensional terrain.
