You compete in a season against the best riders and try to come out on top.  There is an extreme amount of customization for your motorcycle.  You can adjust the shocks, tire pressure, fork angle, gear ratio, and engine characteristics.  All of these options are crucial to change if you want to win in some races.  The control also takes a realistic approach.  If you are in a high gear and don't give enough gas, your bike will stall and you will have to start it back up.
