Charge in, take aim and take off!


ThinkTanks is a tank combat game designed to be a blast for the new and experienced gamer alike with lighthearted, fast paced pandemonium. Either battling against brain-hungry bots in solo play or going head-to-head against others online, ThinkTanks has something for everyone.

Solo Play


You find yourself in a ThinkTank... just one of many brain slaves imprisoned by Alien Mind Control-- only you have managed to escape their brain rays. But the moment you are free, you are besieged on all sides by insane bot-tanks. You must destroy or be destroyed and keep on your toes at all times. Luckily you can collect powerups that give you wacky weapons to help you stay alive. As you progress through each level, the bot tanks get smarter, stronger and crazier as Alien Mind Control reprograms the bot tanks to match your wits. Your goal is to beat the bosses, then rescue your brain-brethren and continue the fight on other worlds.

Quickplay Battle Mode


Upon entering, you are immediately engaged by heavy artillery. This is no-holds-barred warfare and to the victor go the points. You can be catapulted or thrust in any direction by rolling over the boost and jump pads to escape attack or rush the enemy. The lush, green hills are scattered with bots on the warpath, bots choking in their own smoke, floating orbs with special powers and ammunition, boulders, trees, AND the dreaded pit of doom. The goal here is to keep your brain intact, and triumph over bots of every shape, size, speed and skill.

Scrum


You are cast into a veritable feeding frenzy of tanks. You need to simultaneously track the position of your tank relative to the scrum ball using your radarscope, while navigating your tank along the bumpy terrain. If you are quick enough to pick up the ball yourself, you must make a mad dash to the goal, evading the thirsty pack of mad bots heavy on your trail. You win by capturing the most scrum balls in the allotted time.

Both On-line BattleMode and Scrum games have team-play variants and online chat that allow players to play together cooperatively.

You start as a volunteer in WWII fighting with the british and French, then move on to other campaigns of the war such as Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Normandy (D-Day), North Africa, and even a bombing raid on Tokyo. It's more of an arcade type game, with in air repairs, unlimited ammo, and simple commands, but it's fun and challenging, and there's plenty of unlocks through the campaign and even in arcade mode, and Ace Duels with AI opponents in the same type of aircraft you're flying.

The Mutiplayer is where this game shines with several modes like Co-op, and duels, or simplay to see who can down the most aircraft. It's a fun title, but don't buy it new. Pick up a used copy and enjoy the game, as this title isn't for everyone.

The game bears some resemblance to the game Snake, though in Zatacka the main goal is to make your opponent hit the wall, his kurve or your kurve. As a result, the game resembles closely to the famous Light Cycle of the 1982 movie Tron. You control the kurve by only two buttons: one makes the snake turn left; the other, right. Although the game has primitive graphics, the gameplay is considered very good and the game is loved by many fans worldwide.

There's a strategic and tactical depth that goes unmatched in the small-games-to-play-on-a-break gaming world. Even though the simplicity is striking (anyone can play it) there are an infinite amount of tactics that can be applied in this game.

It takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master! Be warned though - it's addicting!
]]> 23 Feb 2007 01:06:02 Ribbit King Ribbit King is about a plucky little character named Scooter and his talking lunchbox, Picwick, who try to save their world by entering a Frolf Tournament. Frolf is golf but instead of a golf ball you use a frog, and its way more humorous.
Launching your frog across 5 different areas with 4 maps for each area, and different starting and ending positions makes this a great multiplayer game. Obstacles are throughout the all the areas including snakes, lava lakes, mammoths, and even caters. Almost all obstacles are worth points unless you play your frog right. Items can be used to boost your frog and change its status.

Including with Ribbit King is a bonus disc called Ribbit King Plus! It doesn't have any additional gameplay just movies the developers created for fun.
