After all, it is dinner time on earth, and the Gamma Brothers' families will not be pleased if you don't get Buzz and Zap home safely.

Bubblomania X

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/bubblomaniax/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Bubblomania X is an original arcade game, full of thrill and action, featuring cute and funky graphics, and great music!
For too long, genetically modified grown food, and pollution from the ocean and environment created a harmful impact on the natural food chain of Planet Terria.

The insects and ocean dwellers mutated in wildly unusual ways and became stronger and more intelligent.

Some began to develop brain abnormalities, which resulted in an increased aptitude of 5000% in their IQ's. As their new intellect grew, so did their appetite for planet domination.

They now feel that Terrians are their Public Enemy Number One. So, they developed a secret army and are now ready to eradicate the Terrians with all of their mutant force.
This change-eater made few changes to the original, but for some reason was infinitely more playable. The addition of the purple laser fire-type added another dimension to mindless banging away on the fire button.
Basically its a single level game built around JumpStart. The Map to play on is randomly selected from a set list (currently 4 maps) and play exists of you trying to destroy all of the enemies on the screen. Some maps are generated procedurely and some are hard coded.

In the relased version sound is supported (turned off by default, turn it on in the options screen). I'll warn you now that the sound can get a bit annoing. Luckily you can press escape, go to options, turn it off, back, and resume game.

Graphics are completely from SpriteLib GPL. If anyone wants to take the time to create real graphics for the game I'd be happy to add them in and add on a credits screen.

Star Trek Voyager - The Arcade Game

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/StarTrekVoyager/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

STAR TREK VOYAGER: THE ARCADE GAME is a pulse-pounding shoot-em-up, and can be found in finer arcades, movie theaters and entertainment centers everywhere!

"...It is an arcade gun-shooting game in the grand tradition of Area 51, Virtua Cop and The House of the Dead. Unlike those games, though, it's populated by new alien adversaries designed exclusively for the Star Trek universe by the creators of General Chaos and Rampage World Tour."
