All is wonderful, until one day the LocoRoco are attacked by an evil alien race - the Moja. Of course, the LocoRoco are too friendly to fight off the invasion. Here's where you come in: you tilt the planet back and forth to guide the LocoRoco across 40 charming levels, repopulating the LocoRoco and fighting back against the Moja.

The game is short and simple, but remains an incredibly fun and charming experience.

Warioware Smooth Moves

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/wwsm/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

When Wario stumbles upon a strange device called a Form Baton, he and his friends use it to learn new moves that are as fun as they are wacky. Like its predecessors, WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a collection of "microgames" based on simple actions which usually last fewer than five seconds each. The microgames are delivered in rapid succession, presenting the player with the gameplay screen and a short instruction hinting at the action that must be accomplished.

Wii Play

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/wiiplay/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

"Coming complete with a Wii Remote, with Wii Play you are all ready to challenge your friends and family to exciting two-player action..." By playing each of the 9 different minigames, you will naturally learn how to use the Wii Remote.
The hamster continually moves (with incresing speed) on a oval track. The only thing you can control is the turning of the hamster. For as long as you keep the left mouse button pressed, the hamster will turn left (hold it too long and the hamster will crash into a wall).

Squarez

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/squarez/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Please note that this isn't some fancy game with super-cool graphics or good...sound either. Nope. This is purely a game to see how well I can program in C# using XNA without having any prior knowledge.

With that in mind, it's sort of an action game. It gets very fast paced, and is simple to pick up and learn. You're a square...trying to hit another square. Doesn't get much simpler than that, does it?

There's two modes at the moment. One is Puzzle mode, get from the start to the end in the quickest amount of time possible, and the other is Vs. Cpu mode, try and defeat the computer before you get defeated yourself.

Rotation!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/rot/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

There's a fair few "reaction tests" across the internet, and most of them follow one cliche idea or another - click at the right time, click the right amount of times and so on. This one is slightly different, and requires a bit more thinking than the standard methods.

There are two things to focus on, each of them a ring with 15 circles. You can rotate the outer ring with your mouse. When the colors of each of the circles match up, click the left mouse. If you've aligned them properly, you'll get points and extra time. Otherwise, you'll just lose some points. Then, the colors reset and you try again. Try to get the most rings possible in a minute and earn yourself a highscore!

There are 3 gamemodes, and 8 "skins".

Also, the song featured is named Obscurity, written by Dark Nebula.

Pax Galaxia

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/paxgalaxia/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Pax Galaxia is an addictive real-time strategy game of interstellar conquest. Mercenaries are your only hope against the Aliens who have attacked your planet. Yet on your way back you find your planet destroyed. Did you wait too long, or is something fishy about the scene? Battle through the swarms of Aliens to find the secret to your lost planet, and prepare yourself for the last battle!

The idea was originally a spin off of the old classic Space Invaders. But finally grew to be a much larger project. The game was built over the process of a few years as a mere hobby. It was started when I first started programming, and ended when I had much more experience. Because of that there are some known bugs with the general core of the game that can't, reasonably, be ironed out.

There are a few fun twists to the game that make it fairly fun. There are 10 playable levels, but once the game is complete you can start over on a harder difficulty level. Of course the increase is nearly exponential… so good luck. As of yet nobody has beaten the game three times through, although a few have made it to the last level on the third time.

The level format is very simple, feel free to add your own levels. If you do so, please e-mail me a copy!
