Out in the vastness of space lies the heart of an Intergalactic Criminal Network, TALOS, a man-made asteroid slowly spinning through the void, spreading its evil through the Universe. At the head of this seemingly unstoppable force sits one man, the unspeakably vile Cyrus T. Gross.

A name spoken only in whispered voices, Gross is the embodiment of all that is criminal. Avoiding any attempt to curtail his ever spreading empire, he has crushed all opposition and seems invincible, ruling his depraved Zealots with a fist of iron and a heart of ice.

In a last ditch attempt, the rulers of the Free Worlds have called in the Nemesis organisation, a hardened cadre of humanoid and robotic freebooters who have assigned N.O.M.A.D. 471 (Nemesis Organisation Mobile Attack Droid) to penetrate Gross's heavily armed home world and destroy this vile despot once and for all.

Your mission is to guide N.O.M.A.D. through the four sections of Capital City towards Gross's inner sanctum.

You arrive at the spaceport and must then progress through the slums, into the city centre and penetrate the HQ; "Dun Dentin', before you reach his personal quarters for the final deadly confrontation.

Many dangers await you in all sections of Capital City. In true cowardly style, Gross has installed magnetrons, heat-seeking missiles,
and an infinity of equally deadly obstacles, all of which must be confronted and conquered.

N.O.M.A.D. 471 Specifications

Autonomous war-droid with high-intelligence, Infra-red visual receptors and high-frequency audio-receivers.
Fitted with anti-gravity pods and twin thrusters functional in both forward and backward directions and capable of great speeds with a high degree of manoeuvrability.
Titanium body shell ... Not totally impregnable. Two magnum 57 calibre blasters. The N.O.M.A.D. 471 series is as yet untested. This is his first and possibly deadliest mission. The chances of survival are slim ...
Please give feedback! Thanks! games@digitalblur.com

How to play Space Rocks Beta v0.3:

-Control the ship by moving the target cursor with the mouse and press 'W' or the right mouse button.

-Additionaly you can use the 'A' and 'D' keys to rotate the ship left or right (currently needs work).

-Shoot the asteroids with the left mouse button or the spacebar.

-Pause the game by pressing 'P'

-Use your ammo and thruster sparingly, you have a limited amount. Watch the icons in the upper left corner to monitor your levels. Pick up the powerups with an 'A' to recharge your ammo and powerups with a 'E' will restore your thruster energy.

-The ship icon in the upper left corner of the screen will turn darker red every time an asteroid hits your ship and will be on fire when your damage is critical mass. Pick up the powerups with the '+' in the middle to recharge your sheilds and restore the ships health. It is on loan so - you break it you buy it...

-You can pick up powerups after you destroy certain asteroids.

Have Fun!

Axion is a 4 colour (greyscale) shoot'em up made for the Retro Remakes 4-colour TI calculator style competition.

Story

Thousands of years ago the Atlantians built a huge inter-dimensional portal with the intent of trapping a huge foe inside. The portal worked perfectly, but at the last minute the huge beast was able to pull their entire city in with it. Knowing the they were unable to save the city and that the beast would eventually be able to break free without anyone able to watch over it, they sent out their last hope, Axion.

Axion was a specially designed craft known as a "Dimension diver" which made it the only man-made creation that was able to seemlesly escape the pull of the triangular portal.

Thousands of years later after absorbing much of its surroundings including people, ships and planes, the beast was able to take control of its own prision, although it was still not quite powerful enough to escape entirely. Using all the energy it had absorbed over the many years, the beast took control of the portal and projected it into outer space using mankind's own orbiting satillites. The portal was now 50 times its original size, big enough to engulf the entire planet...and this was the plan. If the beast could absorb the entire planet, then it would have enough energy to break free from its Atlantian prision.

After detecting the huge power surge, Axion emerged out of the ocean and blasted off into outer space to stop the beast before it was too late.

naac

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/naac/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

NaaC is a fast single-screen shooter in which you can kill thousand of smelling aliens.
Each time a Mailer Daemon gets past him, the time limit is suspended, and he must battle a gigantic multi-tentacled, shape-changing demon called the Zuuling.

Move Burnie using the keyboard, and fire by aiming the mouse. The longer you hold the mouse button, the larger the fireballs Burnie can hurl. Large fireballs are faster and can burn through multiple demons.

Shooting fireballs uses Mana, which can be replaced by holding the spacebar to Meditate. Meditation leaves Burnie vulnerable. Demons drop mana powerups when you send one fireball through multiple demons, each one leaves a larger powerup. Demons also drop life powerups when you create chain-reactions by burning demons that touch each other.
