Diablo, an incredibly powerful demon, is the Lord of Terror and one of the Three Prime Evils of Hell, who had been imprisoned in a Soulstone and buried in caverns deep beneath the town of Tristram. Though his imprisonment was meant to be eternal, the power of the Soulstone weakened over centuries, eventually allowing Diablo to awaken from his forced slumber. He telepathically turns a nearby human, the Archbishop Lazarus, into his loyal puppet. In order for Diablo to actually leave the Soul stone, Diablo needs a human to possess. At first he tries to gain control of King Leoric, the local ruler, through his puppet, Lazarus. But, since Diablo is too weak to possess the king, he fails and merely drives the unfortunate monarch insane. He then gets Lazarus to kidnap King Leoric's son, Prince Albrecht, so that Diablo can possess and warp him, thereby attaining material form and freedom from the stone. At the moment of the boy's possession, his terror is so great that the boundaries between the realms are broken and parts of Hell seep into the mortal world and take root in the subterranean labyrinth beneath Tristram. Diablo may have a body now, but he is far from his full power, so he bides his time and summons countless hordes of demons and infests the whole underground complex, claiming the new region of Hell as his own personal lair.<br />

Soon afterwards the maddened Leoric is slain by his own lieutenants. Demons appear in the countryside as the Lord of Terror regains his strength in the heart of the labyrinth and prepares for the time when he would once again emerge to seek his brothers - Baal and Mephisto - and free them as well. The difficulty levels impacted starting wealth, starting loan and the disaster frequency. Players then construct their cities from a variety of infrastructure and zones, balancing their budget. There is no set up objective, and the game never ends.<br />

Although it is a continuation of the Age of Empires series, Age of Mythology focuses less on historical accuracy, instead centering around the myths and legends of the Ancient Greeks, the Ancient Egyptians, and the Norse.<br />

Age of Mythology is different from other Ensemble Studios games because it takes place in a Pantheistic solipsistic universe. Unlike previous Age of Empires games, which followed the historical progress of various nations or cultures, &quot;Age of Mythology&quot; follows the exploits of a band of heroes, in an adventure that takes them through all three civilizations.<br />

 In their struggle for supremacy, players can use mythological creatures like Minotaurs and Cyclopses to bolster their armies' strength. Players may also call upon the gods for assistance in flattening enemy towns with meteors or scattering opposing troops with lightning storms.<br />

All of this is brought to life using a revolutionary 3D engine developed by Ensemble Studios. The gameplay is fairly simple by todays standards, being composed of the now-standard RTS mechanics, but in 1995 it revolutionized the gaming world. New disasters were included, such as whirlpools, UFO attacks, and locust swarms. However, old disasters in the series, such as floods and hurricanes were omitted.<br />

<h1>Gameplay</h1>
Gameplay in SimCity 3000 is similar to other SimCity games. However, new industries, utilities, and other buildings have been added. SimCity 3000 allows for farms and hi-tech industry. Although hi-tech industries were represented to a degree in SimCity 2000, they were upgraded in SimCity 3000. They now had their own distinctive architecture, and produced less pollution. Farms were also added, giving players the option to build rural cities. The addition of garbage disposal added a third resource players had to manage- waste. Myth is arguably the first real-time strategy game to put the player in a true 3D landscape, with an emphasis on tactical battlefield action rather than base construction. Myth also happens to be one of Bungie's most successful pre-Halo releases, and shows off the company's range and ability in genres outside of first-person shooters. A single player mode features an engrossing and enjoyable plot, with you battling the evil and eponymous Fallen Lords, their evil leader, Balor and all manner of undead creatures, but Myth's multiplayer is where it really stands out. Bungie.net's game-matching technology has been much-emulated since, and at Myth's release, was something truly special. Multiple game modes including King of the Hill, Steal the Bacon and even co-op added huge variety to what was an outstanding and standard-setting game - and it still is. Early on he suffers injury while engaged in battle with some of these damned spawns of Satan. Spending some time in a Prague convent, while healing his wounds, he falls in love with a nun by the name of Anezka. Unable to resolve the conflict between his love for Anezka and his devotion to the order, Christof slips into despair.<br />

Not before long events take a turn for the worst. Christof is Embraced (Vampire creation process) by Ecaterina the Wise, an 8th generation Vampire of clan Brujah. He has now become that which he has spent his life slaying in the name of God and all things good, for the first time Christof's faith is put to the test. He fails and believes himself to be truly damned, outcast and soulless. While struggling with his own inner demons, he is unwittingly drawn into the shadowy politics of the vampiric clans in Prague, as a great conflict blossoms. This enmity flared up with the recent appearance of a new clan calling themselves the Tremere.
