Stinkoman 20X6 is a side-scrolling platformer game which stars Stinkoman, an anime version of the popular Homestar Runner character Strong Bad. This game is based on the classic Capcom Mega Man series. It also parodies the poor Japanese to English translations common to video games of that era.

This game was released in installments, beginning in March 2005 with the last update in September 2005. Creators Mike and Matt Chapman have previously said that a tenth and final level would be released, but this has yet to happen.

TROGDOR!

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/TROGDOR/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

<img style="float: left; clear: left;" src="http://static.greatgamesexperiment.com/userimages/5/504fa2c610a3aa6181a19df87b0869fa_sq.png" title="TROGDOR! The slant on the gameplay comes in power-ups, which can change the numbers on the dice you're about to roll, send an opponent to the hospital (think jail in Monopoly) or upgrade all your owned properties to landmarks (think hotels in Monopoly), among other things.

The biggest difference, and what makes the game much quicker is the smaller board size, inability to trade and lack of "monopolies". Each property runs from one star to four star, and each star is worth $100 (buy a three star property for $300, for example). Then, when upgrading it (it can be upgraded three places), each rank costs that amount (upgrading a four star property to max is $1600, then!) and whatever the value is, that's what opponents (or, unfortunately, sometimes you) pay (so a two star place upgraded all the way - 3 times - is $800).

The game is much easier to figure out after a few play throughs, though, so give it a shot!

Halloween Memory Match

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/mfHalloweenMemoryMatch2006/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

 A Halloween Memory Match/Concentration game from MindFoolGames.com.

Since WarCraft 3 I have had a strange fascination with tower defense games. I really like slow strategic games with virtually infinite possibilities. To a passive onlooker tower defenses may not seem very in depth. It appears that you simply are placing towers next to paths to kill creatures before they can get to the center. In truth these games can be quite complex. You need to decide what towers to build, where, when and at what stage they should be upgraded. (and to which degree)

Building the right tower a square in the wrong direction or a round to late can mean the difference between a stonewall and a leaky defense. If you are playing a team tower defense you will certainly be called a noob if you leak before the later rounds.

This tower defense lacks tower diversity in that all towers only have a range and damage rating. It is much more exciting when you have towers that have special effects even if its as simple as a set of land and air towers. The one thing this TD does have that seems to be unique is a never ending cycle. Basically each round monsters get progressively stronger until they breach walls. This is great but it would be much better with a leader board.

Distraction

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/distraction/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

In Distraction, you have to use the mouse to guide the bird and avoid missiles while collecting the fruit.
