You play as cyborg cat RB51, exploring underground caves and collecting cat snacks.

Dangers include falling dried plums and walking, exploding bowls of custard. Furthermore, some cat snacks have been force-fed to cave rabbits, who also explode! And keep an eye out for expanding green peas, which can quickly fill a cave or block the exit...

When enemies explode, blood (or custard) splatters on nearby objects... so the game is a bit violent.

A cave editor is also included so you can make your own caves.

Star Wars Arcade

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/www/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

A remake of the classic 1984 Atari Vector game Star Wars

Sopwith XNA

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/sopwithxna/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Sopwith XNA is a remake/update of Sopwith II. I have tried to keep the fun simple gameplay intact, whilst adding a few extra bits and pieces of my own. This was a small project designed to let me learn better game development using XNA, as well as trying to keep focused on a single project through to completion.

Space Invasion

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/SpaceInvasion/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Updated but faithful Space Invaders clone for XNA (both Windows and Xbox 360). Platform game where you must avoid hazards like fireballs, arrows and angry guards on your journey over the castle walls to save your love, Esmerelda.

Updated graphics and funky sound track gives the game a fresk lick of paint but the same game play that made it a "one more go" game remains.

HitBlock

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/hitblock/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

The game is a remake of Crillion. It features all the classic stages as well as over thousand user made sets.

You control a ball that bounces up and down on its own. Steer the ball left/right and hit colored blocks. If the colors match you can destroy the block.

Enter: color changers, deadly skull blocks, moving enemies, keys, doors, bombs and many more.

An editor to create your own sets is included. You can also upload your set from inside the game and have it immediately available to other players.

Push-Push Penguin

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/ppp/?utm_source=feed&utm_medium=rss

Guide Pen-Pen or his sweetheart Deda-Deda (or both in a multiplayer frenzy) around the mazes and try to crush all monsters on screen with the Ice Blocks scattered around. Use the Action button to push the ice block or crush it if it cannot be pushed.
If you face the outer wall and press the Action button then you will start breathing the icy breath onto them which will make them freeze. If there are any monsters walking by the frozen wall they will get instantly stunned and you can use this ability to crush them with an ice block. Try to spell BONUS for surprise, and rack up combo scores by killing Snow Trolls in various imaginative ways.
